Relaxing, peaceful, truly tranquil. A lovely experience. The gardens are beautiful, with a babbling brook that runs throughout it, which adds to the experience. Plenty of seating areas with fire bowls that are lit at night. Highly recommend.

They may call this a resort, but it is far from it. The beach is nothing but rocks. The deck was in need of a good power washing. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood; it had a slope in the middle, so every time I rolled over, I rolled into my husband. There was very poor lighting, good luck sitting to read a book. The shower was no more than five feet across but had two shower heads. The room itself was dingy, dark and felt dirty and very dated. But the kicker was the blind on the window right by the front door. It stopped a good 2 feet above the window frame, could not be moved. If you don’t mind paying resort hotel prices for a Super 8 room, then maybe the Kingfisher is your kind of hotel. We won’t be back.

I’ve never had to work so hard to make a reservation for anything, let alone a $300 massage. This is a fantastic place that provides exceptional service but the website and reservation process need to join the 21st century. Online booking is offered but only if you have an account and there’s no option to create an account. That leaves calling in before 4:30pm, which is typically when most people with the disposable income required for this price point are at work earning said disposable income. Currently on hold as I compose this review, 21 mins and counting…

The grounds and outdoor dining space were nice enough but the outdoor pool and sitting area is small and not very intimate. The food is highly priced but it is above average. The rooms were (at best) average and reminiscent of motel than that of a spa resort. Furniture was old, ripped fabrics and paper thin walls. Also, the outdoor decks are not very private and you could hear your neighbor as if they were right next to you. All that aside, the spa was pleasant as were the staff, even though the staff did forget a few specific requests I had made, which I found disappointing. I was not a fan by the masseuse telling me that if I wanted them to apply more pressure on my massage that it would be $20 extra! Really?!? That took me right out of the entire experience and was just not something you tell a customer on your table. Bottom line, this is a small town spa, with big city prices.

We had a sister (3) trip and we felt very pampered and spoiled. Every area of service was exceptional and friendly. We stayed a week and were sad to go home. The spa treatments were so good and relaxing. We tried new foods and drinks and were not disappointed. Will highly recommend. Enjoyed the gardens and fire bowls at night. A truly relaxing and fun trip.

Review of spa only. Partner and I went for the hydropath and really enjoyed it. The spa attendant that led us through the path was so sweet, beaming with positive energy. Her customer service made the day (Sorry, I can’t remember her name but believe it started with an C?) All the staff at the spa were very friendly and the Renos that have been done look incredible. The outdoor area is really beautiful as well. Hope to be back again soon.

Very friendly staff & lovely place . I did the hydro bath spa experience with my two friends . Wow! It was incredible . I think 8 different stations that you go too. Different water pressure therapy , hot and cold therapy with a hot and cold river with rocks , a float salt pool, mud baths , and so much more . I will definitely be back to do this again , it was so relaxing & so fun to do with friends but would be cool to do alone too! I felt so present the entire time. The staff were so helpful and made sure we had water throughout because , you got thirsty with allThe steam. Highly recommend! We picked the option at booking where we could use the pool after & it did not disappoint . Highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back. Planning a birthday spa trip this summer , and a stay in the resort . I ate at the restaurant with my friends after because we were hungry after the spa! I had seafood pasta . It was delicious . My friends also loved their food and the cocktails were so delicious ! WOnderful service !

I was given a gift card for $330 and was pretty pumped on it. We went and checked it out and had dinner and were not over the top with our meals. Knowing that everywhere has off nights we went back for a second try and were even more disappointed. We paid high end prices and received nothing close to that. I had the burger, that was comparable to something you would order from a Wendy's. My fiancè got the seafood pasta, which she enjoyed but it was a pretty small portion. Everything else was satisfactory, the spa was lovely as was the room. All in all it's a very nice place. The restaurant was expensive and disappointing.

Absolutely breathtaking location great spot with attention to detail. Would be nice if you could bring in a bottle of water to the pool ,I do understand the liquor laws, but other similar resorts, allow you to bring in a bottle of water or your own plastic cup. Especially with a lot of the rooms having a kitchenette people bring in their beverages and it would be nice to have that option especially for non-alcoholic drinks or water.
