HSBC has a terrible reputation. Complete incompetence at this branch especially the small business team. The list of issues are endless and infuriating: promo denied because they took too long to open the account, debit card sent 3 times to the wrong address, the right debit card that was activated was no longer working, fusion app not working and accounts not showing up etc etc etc. Took over 6 months to get a business account set up. So ridiculous. Recommendation: do NOT use HSBC for business especially if you are a small business owner with little time for this bullsh%^&. This branch has a lot of incompetent people.

The ATM here stole my card last night and management claims that they cannot return it to me because it is not a HSBC card. This is extremely inconvenient as I am traveling out of my home country. I highly recommend that travelers avoid using HSBC ATMs anywhere.

I had an appt with Archana Raj to discuss my mortgage. She was half an hour late for the appt, no apology and extremely rude (was not answering our questions and repeating herself in a condescending way).

We have been loyal customers for over 20 years. How they were unable to help us open a HSBC Advance Chequing Account as well as refusing to understand the situation simply shows the size of their absurd nerve: They do not truly care about their customers, no matter how good they have been, no matter how pristine their credit score. One especially untrained staff member wasted our time for 2 hours, feeling the need to go ask their manager for every small question we asked, with each excursion about 10 minutes.Hopeless.

I tried to deposit Hong Kong cheques and was originally discouraged by the manager as there was a $30 Cad fee per cheque. After 20 mins of questions back and forth, the manager told me it was all a mistake. She tried to minimise the error with “My bad. It’s Friday.” And this only irritated me more. What should have only taken 10mins, took 30mins altogether. I found the whole experience unprofessional and irritating. I will not return to this branch of HSBC.

They could not help us complete even the most simple things such as opening a chequing account. In addition, a degrading and disheartening customer service experience. Please stay away from this branch.

Excellent service. Agent stuck with me for over an hour to resolve credit card enrollment issues.That being said, hsbc itself is another matter. To me many hours to set up a simple credit card account. It should not be that difficult.

HSBC is the worst bank to deal with. I spent 2 days at their bank because they would not provide a mortgage payout statement on time to close my mortgage. Separately their underwriting team does not know what they are doing, asking for the same support over again. Wasted 3 months of my life and massive interest expense I will not get back.

Visited this bank yesterday asking for help in closing an investment account, the staff at the front desk had no clue about anything and was repeatedly going back and forth for answers. After around 20 minutes of me standing there for a resolution, she asks me to come back after two days as all the staff were very busy. I could see some staff standing and chatting around but none helped.With not much help from a personal visit, I called customer care about this and they helped me close this in 5 minutes. The same information could have been provided to be my the bank staff. Very ill informed set of people at this location.
