Arashi-Do Martial Arts, Rocky Mountain House

My boys joined the Muay Thai program in September 2015. Kru Russ is an amazing teacher and roll model. We have been very happy with his program. I have seen a huge boost in their self esteems.One word of advice is to keep a close watch on the pre-authorized payment plan.Our contract ended in May but we were still charged for June. So I made them go to a few classes so I didn’t feel like it was a complete waste, but because they didn’t attend enough classes they were not allowed to test. Which is understandable but had we not been charged already we wouldn’t have attended at all and this wouldn’t have been a issue. So basically I was out $179.15 for nothing all because I didn’t remind them that our contract was up. At this point in time we will not be returning to this school but still highly recommend Kru Russ and his programs

Training in Arashi-Do built up confidence in myself thanks to the amazing instructors and the respect given by students of all levels. I highly reccommend it for exercise, building confidence and having fun!

My kids are half Thai and we have been pleased with Kru Russ’ Tiny Thaigers program. Kru Russ’ techniques are tight and his ability to work with young kids is exemplary. My wife would not be taking our kids there unless this was the case. Additionally, all of the students who have progressed through his Muay Thai & Karate programs are respectful, and confident people. The facility is world class, and a gem for our community. Nothing but good things to say!

My son has been attending the Tiny Thaiger program in Rocky for over 2 years now. Kru Russ has made such a huge impact in my son's life I couldnt imagine life without it now. Graeson is strong, confident, happy, respectful, humble, and kind. He is growing into such an amazing little man and I can absolutely say it has been with the help of an amazing teacher. Thank you Kru Russ for all you do for us and everyone else!

My son was apart of the tiny thaigers program ages 4-7. The instructor did a wonderful job with these students. It was a busy class, with lots of learning and it was fun. My son was able to confidently move on to a new location to practice his skills learned as we relocated to another city. Highly recommend this location.

Cannot say enough good things about Arashi Do and specifically Russ who leads the kids Muay Thai with such passion and patience. It is such a safe and judgement free zone for them to learn and grow these skills, which exceed so much more then just punching and kicking. My child has learnt so much respect, restraint and good sportsmanship.

I joined Arashi-Do in January 2019 and have been training for a full year now. The group of instructors at Rocky have an amazing level of skill, experience and enthusiasm, particularly Renshi/Kru Russ. The other students have been an incredible group to train with, forgiving my errant kicks and always ready to give a congratulatory high-five or words of encouragement. I cant imagine training with a better group of people and I am surprised how quickly they have become like a second family.

Arashi-Do is an amazing place if you are looking to help teach your child discipline. It is a really great atmosphere, family friendly place and the coaching is amazing! Highly recommend

My family have been going to this school for the last 15 yrs. Could be more than that . My boys have earned there blackbelts and im a brown belt hoping to someday earn my blackbelt. We have been able to extend our experience by being apart of Team Canada and participating in Italy and Ireland, all the training was done in Rocky Mountian House school. A World champion was produced in this school and I would recommend this school and oranization to anyone.

Great environment for all ages! My little guy loves the tiny thaigers class and it’s helped so much with his concentration and self control!
