Absolutely pathetic. Over the past 2 days I bought several items from Home Depot all within unrelated departments and ALL OF THE PRODUCTS ARE DEFECTIVE. This includes JB Water Weld, Submersible LED lights, Couplings for PVC, power surge extension chord, plastic cutter and couple more lights. I am not exaggerating when I say each and every single thing I purchased was either broken or defective. When I went to return the items the first time there was no issues and even the customer service associate made a comment like “oh yes, these” like he’s been doing the return on those items all week. After I got the money back I went to see if I could find some better working alternatives. Once I brought the other brands home they all stopped working in a matter of 2 hours. JB water weld couldn’t even hold after stuffing all the crevices in the pvc/couplings and letting it sit for 12 hours while it’s literally marketed on the packaging for PVC as well as the associates saying it should work better. Stay far away from this place, the quality control will obviously be laughable in big box stores but this is pathetic 6/6. Realistically 12/12 items all junk since the ones I got for the exchange broke the same day I got the return. I will never return and advise everyone to give their business elsewhere.Edit: don’t even bother with the automated reply asking to explain my experience further. Make sure that whenever you replenish your stock that it actually works before you put it on the shelves. I can understand a couple items being defective. No problem. The issue is when EVERYTHING you bought is defective and the replacements you got to substitute those original items are ALSO defective is when I have a major problem. Completely unacceptable.

Nice big store. The staff are very friendly most of the time always asking if we need help. They have a Harvey’s outside that closes at 8pm and a huge parking lot. Nice clean washrooms and accessible entrance. In summer I get my flowers and plants from there. They also carry Christmas and seasonal decorations. We get the paint and washroom renovation materials there as well as the temporary signs (house for sale/open house etc) I recommend this place much bigger than the home hardware. They cut keys and wood. They have roofing materials. If you are new to renovating by yourself they also have books and will guide you.

So I used the online tool rental for a tower scaffolding. Gonna put xmas lights on the house. It was simple and easy to use, and just like the app said a confirmation email was sent a couple hours after. Picked up the scaffoling and went home to install those dreaded lights. Along with your rental reciept, are instructions on how to assemble it.I wasn't far in, when I noticed one of the outriggers compression locks was broken. I called HD, and clerk was busy at the time so I left my name and number. I decided to drive there and get a new outrigger. Once at HD, I showed the clerk and he not only replaced the broken part, he discounted my rental from a full day to just a 4 hour rental. I also showed him that I was missing 4 castors for the outriggers, which he fixed me up quickly. I drove home and went back to setting this tower back up. This time, while putting things together, I notice the platform which you stand on, the under support bracket was broke. But seeing as how I had 2 of them, I would put the broken one on the bottom. I also realized that again I was missing another vital item, more lock pins to keep the scaffing from separating. Luckily, I hadsome bolts in the garage to substitute. I didnt feel like driving the 30 minutes each way for those again.When I returned the equipment, I made sure to tell the young fella about the broken item and other missing items. This is not a slam to HD, but more of a reminder to people to check your tool properly before you use them please!

Great hope depot and has everything we ever need. Always spend a fortune here for home supplies, tools, and renovations. Recently bought new handles for our doors and purchased flooring - all good quality and decent prices. Customer service is fantastic, and help is always offered when we need it. Highly recommend!

Great service, prices and selection of building materials. Every time I go in I'm approached by helpful staff. Matt from the kitchen department was a huge help in renovating our kitchen, planning out the layout and selecting cabinets. He's incredibly knowledgeable and a great friendly guy! Thanks for all your help.

The store is very organised by section and is easy to find what you’re looking for. There are a good amount of staff willing to help. They have a good selection of Christmas decorations and plants to suit everyone’s needs. Customer service is very fast for returns or if there is a problem with a card. They have excellent workers who can help choose different cabinets with the proper dimensions and are well trained to guide the customers when building projects. The warehouse is well stocked and we always have help to load our materials.

Had a very bad experience with an online order. I was to go to the store for a refund.Delt with a shift manager named DEVON, he made sure it was all resolved to my satisfaction. Made the best out of a bad situation.THANK YOU Devon

I purchased a 650$ 20 gal husky compressor from you guys with a 2 year manufacturers warranty and was also sold on a 2 year home depot extended warranty for an extra 60$. After using the compressor only three times, it began smoking from the compressor motor and died. I drove 5 hours 1 way to return it back to home depot hoping that they would honor the 2 year extended warranty and I was rudely turned away by staff at customer service, because I didn't bring it back withing 3 months, I was so angry. I was given a number to call customer service where I was directed to a lady who was unable to get anywhere with this process as mat industries, Sanborn, and or husky will not respond to her or me. I am super upset with the service and would never treat anyone as I was treated at the store. At first I just wanted to exchange the broken compressor for a new one but now I just want my money back.Greg Nan,

This store never has anything in stock, and the staff are never present when you need them. When you find a staff member they aren’t very helpful. Better to go to princess auto.
