The Hey Fried Chicken in this festival is really rude. We order from them at July 2nd in their store, but they cook the chicken with bleeding and put wrong toppings into my drinks. We came back to the store and got refund. Until that day, everything is good. Today, in the Taste of Saskatchewan, I was be told they will not server me and my friend. Ridiculous! We contacted their owner, they said they have right to refuse to serve us. Rude staff and owner. Will never back :)

Large variety of food and selection of drinks from Saskatoon restaurants . Nice selection of local artists who present their work. Good music from local artists. And it is free to go in . So feel free to sit and enjoy the mood.

Why is this event still in a park downtown?? It would make much more sense to have it at the exhibition like ribfest. Currently it is in a venue to small with no parking available. I feel sorry for the downtown businesses while this event is going on.

Disappointed about the new way they do things. Tickets were far superior than having to pay at least $5 for every dish. They didn’t even accept cash.

Alwats a great time trying different local foods. Quite reasonably priced tickets and a lot of options. Great for family outings, dates or just something to take in with friends. Takes place adjacent to the river and downtown so is always convenient to get to and lots of things to do nearby.Would definitely recommend checking it out, especially for all you foodies out there!

Needs to be better food handling procedures. Not one hot dish, even tho it was coming out of hot holding. Cold octopus, cold tacos... unpleasant. Expensive for what it is, but I guess paying for dt parking and expensive tickets allow for the free" shows and admission"

Taste of Saskatchewan is an annual festival held in downtown Saskatoon in July. More than 20 restaurants are gathered here to make you happy with their food. However, it is great and you can enjoy the food and music a lot, but there are some drawbacks. First, you should pay cash! I don't use cash a lot and I had to go and look for an ATM! The food items were limited. 2 or 3 items in each menu!

It's an event where you get enjoy different bands playing music while eating your meal from a wide range of meals to choose from. Meals were between the 5 to 10 range and range from ice creams, booster juice, dry ribs, cakes, tacos, Chinese cuisine, Japanese cuisine and so much more. You could always step and sit on the park bench and enjoy the river scene or birds thats always on the river. Overall, it's a great event if you to try new foods and different types of music entertainment.
