Just had my watch band replaced and sized. Excellent service and very friendly staff. They were able to do the watch while I waited. I highly recommend this local business.

Small jewelry store that has a large selection of jewelry, watches and watchbands. They also do repair and battery replacement. I had to have links removed from a new Fitbit band. They did a great job and the band was not damaged. The price was very reasonable. They were very friendly and helpful. Also, the store is in a convenient location. Will use them again in the future.

Been going to Frank for 1 year now (yeah I tend to break my jewelry a little too often!). The owner is so nice and always make my jewelry shiny when I come pick it up. It’s my go to place to be honest. Great work and very knowledgeable staff.

Above and Beyond-Frank Jewelry, 900 Greenbank Rd., Nepean, Ontario K2J1S8 (Barrhaven)Several members of our extended family have been delighted with Frank Jewelry, for jewelry and watch repairs for a number of years, but yesterday the owner’s expertise, empathy and compassion truly came to the fore.Staff at 95 year old mother’s Long Term Care home had noticed her hands had become swollen and her rings were causing further swelling, threatening her circulation. She has mobility issues and is no longer able to weight bear.Several phone conversations with the Frank Jewelry owner explaining the situation resulted in advice on how to reduce swelling and remove the rings but were unsuccessful because of her fragile skin.Finally, at the end of his incredibly long work day, this fine and compassionate man drove to the LTC with his tools and with expertise, great gentleness and reassurance, removed each ring with one cut, intact so that they will be able to be repaired at a later date.This wonderful jeweller’s sincere concern, patient, gentle expertise and compassion towards our mother’s situation was a joy to behold. Was met with a lady who didn’t say hi or smile. She asked me lots of questions about what I wanted, then went to tell the Jeweller. He came out and she hadn’t told him anything of what I said, so I went through it all again. He was very crass and insinuated that I was lying to him about the item history of what I needed fixed.No warm and fuzzies in this place, that’s for sure. I left and went somewhere else.

Reasonable price for a watch battery replacement. Super quick and friendly service. Frank also provided advice about types of gold chains, suitable and not suitable for pendants. especially for frequent wear with big, heavy pendants (like jade pi).My mom broke her chains over the years. I was considering to bring hers in to repair or replace. Frank gave honest advice. Though he can repair all of them, he pointed out the ones not suitable for use - great as a stand alone chain, but they'll just break again if my mom puts on her jade pendants.He showed to me chain patterns and thickness from his display case. Quite the helpful explanations even though he knows I'll shop somewhere else since he stocks sterling silver and some white gold, while my mom's preference is for higher karat yellow gold chains.It's great to meet a local jewellery repair that you can trust!

Frank is amazing and I have been going to him for about 3 years now. I have several luxury watches (Tudor, Hamilton, Ball) and when I need a bracelet adjustment (e.g. removing links from a metal watch bracelet), I will only trust Frank to handle them. I have two specific examples of how Frank saved the day:1. My favourite pair of earrings are made of semi-precious stone with a thin gold wire running through a tiny hole drilled in the top of the stone. The gold wire on one of the earrings wore out and snapped. I took it to an upscale jewellery store for repair and they said they couldn’t do it because the hole was so tiny and the wire was so thin - they didn’t have wire small enough to fix it. I took it to Frank instead. He took one look, said that yes, the wire was tiny, but he could special order the right wire if I was willing to wait two weeks. He fixed it and it’s been perfect ever since.2. I received a vintage, 35-year-old quartz Mickey Mouse watch by Lorus. It didn’t keep proper time, as it lost 20 minutes every day, despite having a new battery. Brought it to Frank, he cleaned it, serviced it, replaced the rotted gasket, and it now keeps perfect time.Don’t be put off by his modest storefront - it’s not the jewellery he sells that’s the draw, it’s the expertise of his repair service that’s important. And as for those complaining about his prices - this work is his bread and butter and there’s nobody I would trust more with handling my expensive pieces for day-to-day minor repairs or bracelet/strap adjustments.

I have always gone here for my watch repairs. They are always so kind, and fix it within 2 minutes. Good prices too. Will always recommend this spot to anyone needing a repair.

I went to Frank's August 5th to buy one pin that holds the bracelet to the watch, just one plain pin and was charged $7.52 including tax, I paid cash. I have used his services a couple of times in the past and thought his services were reasonably priced. I was planning on spending a few bucks on a pin but not $7.52, what I was charged was really excessive for one plain pin that probably cost at most 5 cents, check on line they sell pins by the bags for very little. Very disappointed, signed ex-customer.

Have been here several times now (e.g. battery replacement, watch repair, ring resizing), and have recieved great, friendly, and timely services, at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
