TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Ishan one of the managers told me to call customer service as they are not able to help and showing attitudes on top. After that tried branch 391 on 22 Stevenson Rd Oshawa and they solved my problem in minutes. Even this location is the most convenient for me but I don’t think I can come here anymore. Had a few bad experiences in the past as well.

Mismanagement and staff with lack of knowledge giving wrong advise to customers, that’s my experience with this branch. Never had such a problem with any other TD branch.

The only thing I would recommend about this bank is the drive through ATM. If you need in person service, look elsewhere. Poor customer service. The staff are unprofessional and communicate very poorly. Will be looking for another branch or maybe even bank.

The TD branch on Dundas St. And Brock Whitby is fantastic! I use there services for both business and personal banking, and have had nothing less but great interactions with all the reps./managers. Further, they always go over-and-above to provide assistance with a multitude of situations. Unfortunately, the wait times when dealing with the customer service staff via telephone needs to be improved.

Went in to get a new card as my other card expired. Everything seemed fine, they verified my I.D. and gave them the verification number via text. Then the management came to ask me questions. They asked me things I could not recall that were over 20 years old. I had a terrible time recalling. Management became rude, smug and refused to help me even though the TD call centre told me to go to the branch. I ended up home and frustrated, called TD IT again and they also could not believe how hard it was to get a new card and was refused service. They wrote a note on my account and told me to try another branch. This other branch was wonderful and understanding. They gave me my new card and I was out the door within 15 mins. Never going back to this branch again.

I was at this Bank it is closed but you can not go inside to take out cash when it is closed they have you go through drive thru They tried to do that at the TD near the whitby walmart but I almost gotten hit and same at this one . they do that because of homeless people staying inside. I do not drive and they need to make this accessible for people that uses the bank . the owner there at this bank will not listen and it is for peoples saftey that do not drive . what I do not get you try this at Tim Hortons they say you need a car to do that for Safety reason . I will be bringing awareness about this bank needs to stay open for people to access it after business days someone is going to get hit and it is on you guys .

Reckless and lackadaisical attitude to customer:Beware of sending checks to this branch, when a check was directly mailed to this branch with a deposit instruction from the sender, the bank branch misplaced the check/left in their pile without acting on it for days and it took multiple long calls with them to get this resolved. When I initially called they try to prove me wrong that they never receive the check, when I produced the proof of delivery from the sender which also had the bank staff signature confirming the receipt of the mail, then they started acting on it. This delay caused 10+ days to deposit the check in my account and top of it they put 7 additional days to clear the check. 17 days to just deposit a check come on!! in which generation we are?

I have had to take a couple days to calm down before writing this review.I have never in my personal or business life been treated with such distain as I have at this branch. From a teller that was lost from the start to a manager that was clearly too arrogant to waste her time to help.This experience went beyond just bad service ...I was personally derided and accused.I expect nothing but an automated response and will look at moving to bank at a more professional institution

I am sitting in the branch currently writing this as all the tellers keep running to managers for advice and I am sitting here being treated like garbage because they cant be bothered to share the info I give them, causing me to retell my story 4 or 5 times.This branch used to be awesome... then the old guard left and this new guard is horrendous.From personal banking for 40 years to 2 business accounts with them over 12 years, I have a sizeable sample of experiences to draw on and they are worse than lost puppies here.Easyline gives me xyz instructions and in branch they tell me their phone colleagues are incorrect.A simple charge back is turning into a fraud complaint or an investigation or for me to go back and complete steps 1-4 which I've already done.The worst part, is they don't let you speak. They interrupt you while talking , are condescending and completely resistant to helping customers and clearly allergic to customer service.Time to end the 40 year relationship and move to a bank that is at least a little bit easier to deal with.Goodbye

I've had extremely poor experience from two separate advisors at this location. My emails are left not responded to for over a week; sometimes two, until I followed up. When I do receive a response, it is an unhelpful one liner. When faced with a question they don't know the answer to, the response has been that they are the middle person and just follow the process.
