New River Beach Provincial Park
Beautiful place! Definitely recommend! Dogs not allowed on the beach but the rest of the park is dog friendly. Their rustic shelter had electricity. The comfort station was close by to where we stayed. There was a large amount of kids which did not make for a quiet or scenic environment though.

Our family cottage is at 81 Haggerty's Cove. We've been visiting the canteen to eat after walking the beach since I was a child. I will never give less than 5 stars to this exceptionally clean park/camp ground.

We stayed there in May 2023. The camping was spectacular. Restrooms were very clean and lots of hot water !! Short walk to the beach and a nice trail around the cove felt like you were in the rain forest. Best of all the staff was AWESOME, they were happy to help give recommendations for the local area .Also the had washers and dryers. $2.00 each

Beautiful large beach, great for swimming. Spent 3 days in the rustic cabins at the campground. The rustic cabins have electricity (no water), a picnic table and 2 sets of bunk beds. The bottom bunk is a double and the top a single. The rustic cabins were great especially when it rained:)

Clean beach. Tide changes amazing. We were there on hot day and conditions kept producing thick fog. Beautiful when you can see it. Great beach for kids.

We loved staying here as it is so beautiful and has really good accessibility. There could be improvements and after speaking with staff it's clear continuous accessible improvements are ongoing.

The beach is fantastic but lemme tell you why I come here - I come for the trail. Impossible to really describe how much I love the views and rocks along New River Nature trail. This is easily one of my fav hiking trails in New Brunswick. Can be quite muddy in places so I use good hiking sandals that I can rinse in the water as needed. Some precarious ledges and drops so careful with dogs and kids. Just as beautiful at high tide as low as it’s two different ways to see it. Absolutely recommend - beginner/intermediate difficulty i’d say.
