What a great place. Really well maintained and clean, everyone is so friendly and there's lots for kids to do. We recently bought a place to enjoy our Summers here. We've spoken with many people here and not one had any regrets about their purchase.

Unfortunately there was an issue with our cabin and we were unable to stay at Rus-ton. However, the front desk went above and beyond to help us out. They offered us a full refund, but instead we asked for - and they found us- a replacement accommodation close by. Although we didn't use them, they offered the use of their facilities for the week as well. Great customer service. Grounds very well kept.

It was perfect for the kids and parents also. The level of cleanliness in their facilities was the highest I've ever seen in a camping. The staff were amazingly kind and professional. We will come back for sure. The kids are still talking about it.

Booked campsite B1 for 1 night.Arrived around 4/5pm to set up our tent and get relaxed for the night. To our surprise this campsite is beside a farm field, and has only about a 2 ft treeline between the tent campsites and this farm field.Around 5/6pm after we had just unpacked everything the farmer decided to spray his field with pesticides or such, leaving a horrible chemical odour! It was so strong we decided to leave our campsite for a few hours to see if the smell would settle and go away. When we returned around 8pm the smell hadnt got better in any way.Okay so were trying to be positive and figure lets have a fire and mask the smell at least, its just 1 night right. WRONG.After the first hour my husband and myself felt ill, started to get headaches and lost our apetites completely. We tried to wait it out a bit and really get the fire going and nothing was helping. We couldnt cook dinner on our fire like we had planned because of the chemicals and feeling unsafe cooking/ating so close to the field, we couldn't even smell or enjoy our fire, and both my husband and I started to feel very ill and knew we couldnt sleep through it.At 10pm at night we had to pack up our 1 year old son, 2 dogs, and our entire campsite to go up to front desk and have no one be available, no after hours number, no one to help us in anyway so we had to drive back to Cambridge 2 hours. Thanks ruston for ruining our vacation.A whole 5 hours at your campsite cost me $65, how pathetic.Even after calling and explaining they said they cant control the atmosphere so wont refund me for the night i paid for. What a joke. Maybe tell your customers that they're pretty much camping on a farm field than.We wont ever return and will be sure to share our experience with as many people as possible and via social media.Might also be going to a doctor and seeing if theres anything i need to watch for and possibly a lawyer for exposing my one year old son, myself, my husband and 2 dogs to the chemicals without any form of consent or knowledge. They should be mandated to state on their website theyre located inbetween farm fields that will frequently be sprayed with chemicals.

We are relatively newcomers here and I must say never had any issues with anything. The neighbors are great, even most weekenders are great and friendly too. Lots to do for kids and it's animal friendly. We love it there and look forward to returning for the season!! Well maintained.

Awesome place to take your family. This place has it all!! (Except firewood but you can bring it in) It has a store, 3 great swimming pools, activities for kids, and themes every weekend. When we went it was water wars. The whole campground gets in a water fight...so much fun! The owners are driving around and checking in that you are having fun. You can easily bike around and it's super safe. Pinery is across road if you want to enjoy a hike, grand bend just down road. We never left because we didn't need too

Our family tent-camped at Rus-ton July 13-15. We were shocked/disappointed that after driving 3 hours, we were essentially camping in a grassy parking lot. The visitor camping sites are all jammed together side by side with not even a tree or a hedge to offer any privacy from neighbouring sites. I have never seen anything like it. Then, to the front of our site our view was a sea of cars. There was nothing scenic or natural about it. I think this is something that should be communicated with visitors before they book. We wouldn't return for this reason. On a positive note, our kids had tonnes of kids to play with and the playgrounds and pool facilities were great. The washrooms/showers were kept very clean.

Great spot. The seasonal campers there are very welcoming and well organized. The parks for the kids are nice and well maintained. The washrooms were clean as well so it made my stay very pleasant. Best part might just be the distance to Grand Bend. You are close enough to take advantage of the beach and everything Grand Bend has to offer, yet far enough away that you can relax away from the hustle bustle that little town also offers.

We spent a week there and we found everything that we needed (pool, kids activity, wagon ride, people drive very carefully at 5km/hour). I had a hard time to park the trailer cause my sewer pipe is short - but not a big deal, just few more minutes to find the spot between the water/electric tower and the sewage.People are very friendly - my daughter set a lemonade stand and they met a lot of kids. Seasonal campers were very welcoming. Staff is kind and Grand Bend beach is five minutes drive. Pinery Provincial Park is few minutes walk. Thanks everyone!
