Paramed is very committed to providing safe and quality care. They offer education to current and new employees to help them succeed. Field staff work really hard especially during the pandemic. They are supported by caring, kind, and knowledgeable Supervisors! Paramed management also show compassion for the clients and are always there for their staff when you need support both professionally and personally. There are a lot of great leaders currently guiding this company to be great!!! Don't always believe a bad review that was written out of anger and not knowledge.

I have been working for Paramed for almost a year. I can say that the RN Supervisor is understanding, always listens. The pay is great. I always have a full day of work, hours are flexible.

Paramed is a positive work environment with consistent support from fellow colleagues and management. They work as a team and always try to improve the quality of care provided in the community. The field staff are intelligent, caring, innovative and hard working. It has been an absolute pleasure working with an amazing group of people. I’ve been with the company for almost two years and have seen first hand how the team works together everyday to improve customer experience. I have seen many of our field staff provide excellent care! Best part is hearing from our clients how much they appreciate our hard work.

The office entirely cancelled my grandmother's care (90yr old, terminal cancer, cannot walk) when we asked that our schedule be changed to the mornings because that's when she needs the most help. If you have to deal with this agency, it's pretty clear, do what they say, accept what they give or they will completely cancel your care at the drop of a dime. One day we had PSWs, the next everything was cancelled. Nice huh? If you're dealing with this agency, make sure you have a good lawyer. Better yet, request Saint Elizabeth. But if you hear Paramed will be handling your care, run...get someone else. We have Saint Elizabeth coming out now and it's like night and day. Even talking with the office personnel, Paramed seemed angry, rushed and apathetic. Saint Elizabeth is very professional, courteous and listens to your concerns and are willing to work with you, not cut you off. DO NOT USE PARAMED!!!!

This is possibly they worse home medical service that is available to our seniors. The problems with them range from Nurses being late and miss informed, to manipulation of the client and thief of property. They are contracted by the government and paid and hour per visit but do the bare minimum, and leave after 15 minutes.

I had major surgery on June 6th and was in hospital until June 9th. Paramed had nurses come every 2 days to changed my bandages . All the nurses were absolutely FANTASTIC.Thank you for your great service. I know they all had a lot of visits daily but they always stayed focused when they were with me. You have awesome staff.
