I'm writing this review because the people who work here are fing legends. Recently during the snow blizzard I was stucked in car along with my friends on the line 8 since 9 hours, there was no help to be found until the next day and seriously it wasn't looking good for us since we were about to run out of gas too.These guys came out of nowhere, pulled our car out of the snow and took us to their warehouse for the night. I only heard stories about Canadian hospitality" but on that day i got to experience that first hand."

I called at 9am the morning of a huge snow storm and, like every other business, wanted my plowing done ASAP.I would never normally ask for special treatment but we had a funeral flowers that needed to be delivered.Essex Fence sent somebody over right away and we were able to got the flowers delivered with time to spare.Thank you so much for the special care you gave us. We were able to pass that same care on to our client, who lost his young wife only five weeks after a cancer diagnosis.It’s local businesses like you that make doing business in CK a dream.ThanksChantelle Hitchcock - Pizazz Florals

The guys did a terrific job. Constantly cleaned up after themselves.... even power washed the dirt left on our patio.

Couple years ago we paid thousands of dollars for a fence; workmanship was ok however only had a one man crew for a very large project. A few months ago we had a windstorm in our area that knocked over a branch on one section of the fence and damaged the top bar. Essex Kent Fence & Deck refused to come out to fix it stating they were too busy and instead asked us to send photos of the damage and then owner Sam would provide a quote. After several phone calls and weeks of waiting Sam finally responded back with a price tag of over $1300 to fix one top bar! After asking for an explanation from the receptionist as to the shocking high cost she said she would inquire with Sam and get back to us. We never received an explanation back from her as promised and Sam never got back to us after ignoring all our emails and phone calls. Horrible customer service by Sam and Essex Kent Fence & Deck especially after we spent so much money with them. Would NEVER recommend them to our family, friends or anyone for that matter. We ended up getting our fence fixed by honest, reliable and responsive people and it cost us under $50, NOT $1300!! Sam and Essex Kent Fence & Deck aren’t even deserving of a 1 star rating.
