Karen Wang has the best customer experience and investment knowledge. I had a question with calculations of their market linked GICs and she was able to give all the details I requested.In contrast the investment advisory (phone channel?) gave zero value to help me with my questions. Very disappointed with their non-branch support team / back office as I have went through several great in-branch investment advisors from National Bank.

I am very frustrated with the experience with mortgage specialist of this branch(Amanda). first she used my line of credit without my permision and also she mislead me with the rate. From months ago, every time I asked her if I should change the rate to fix, she replied it is not the time and mislead me and caused lots of problems for me.

Shawn (Shunjie) was awesome at addressing all my banking requests without any upselling or pushback. Everything was done in a timely manner.

I came from Ukraine yesterday. Today, at 14:30 I tried to open a bank account and represented a passport and work permit as a proof of my identity. Manager asked for permanent address. On what I gave my hotel address where l have reservation for two weeks from yesterday. The lady manager told me to come when I will have permanent address...On official government website stated that to open a bank account is enough to represent two documents which identity the person.So, my personal opinion is that manager simply didn't want to spend time with me,because they supposed to close at 15:00. I am very disappointed and sorry if I am right...

I was at the branch today at 11:55AM an appointment at 12:00 noon. After waiting for 10 mins I was informed that the Mortgage agent assigned is in today and the appointment to renew and refinance our mortgage would need to be cancelled and reschedule. The teller was very apologetic, sighting some sort of system error that allowed an appointment to be booked when you are actually not there.Please inform your upper management that as a result of this error we will be moving our mortgage, and the increased amount of interest that would come with the refinance to another bank. I estimate that this mistake will cost your company about $25,000 over the next 5 years.Thank you,Former National Bank Customers

Avoid like a plaque! I never manage to complete any transaction at this branch. Today my wife who is owner of the joint account was told she is not authorized to deposit a cheque to the account b/c it is not her home branch and they cannot reach the home branch. They must be living in the 18th century under a rock and with their head in the sand.

I moved at the end of March 2020 and despite multiple attempts to change my address they refuse to do so. Last time they told me the manager hadn't approved it yet. I wonder if they will give me my money? Might need a lawyer to deal with them! Going to move to a more competent bank.

Olivia has great working skills and pleasant attitude. She really runs all over the place helping everyone and does her best everytime I see her. She definitely deserves a good raise!

i made a huge mistake thinking this bank has great online services for businesses, actually it is the worse bank in the world, not many branches to go to, business hours are horrible 10-3 it is pathetic. the toll free number is another disaster. going with simplii or other financial institutions is much worth than this bank, not sure how they are in business, just wasted money and time opening an account here.
