Some pics of the not so fine workmanship. As an addition to my wifes review. The roof came off today black mould white mould both had to be abated with extra cost. As far as the rep contacting us many times " I have 2 responses to my photos and videos one offering to send their guys out to quote on the repair and one to say we were on our own. Oh and that I should contact the owner to look for financial help. If it weren't for the shoddy construction as seen in the photos this review would have been much better."

Contracted with Tropical to enclose our back patio with a screen room. Due to Covid and the usual backlogs it took a while to get the product delivered but ... Then came installation day and Victor and Maddie showed up from Tropical. Can't say enough great things about the workmanship and friendly customer service we got from these two ! Treated our screen room as if it was their own : Very professional ; excellent attention to detail ; all-around terrific job. Our only regret is we don't have more patios to screen in !

We got our patio and sunroom installed by Tropical Sunrooms. It is a Canadian company that uses Canadian products (as per their advertisement) and the pricing was good so we contracted them. I paid a deposit in the summer of 2017 for the work to start in spring of 2018 and end in 3-5 months (definitely before fall). When spring of 2018 came, they had not even applied for permits!I had to fight tooth and nail for them to honour the contract which they did in the end, to get the final 10K from me. In the beginning, permits were an issue, in the middle of the construction they kept finding defects and each defect was 10K or more increase in price The final approval from the city was a major issue and by this time, they had lost interest, seemed not to care and did not want to make changes that the city wanted. Finally, the flooring was a big issue as they had bought remnants for installation and when it was faulty, they could not find matching planks and wanted to do a patchwork of unmatched planks that I absolutely refused! They did not know how to install a floating floor that is an absolute must for a semi-outdoor but covered area. They also damaged my sprinkler system. I did deduct the cost of repair from the final bill.The project took over 2 years to finish and costed 50K more than the quoted price.I am satisfied with the final product but boy what an expensive ordeal it was! So if you are considering hiring them, do not pay in full, do get them to sign over the timeline, do ascertain that the prices would not change come what may and do probe every week regarding the progress of permits with the city.

Kenn, Neil & their team were fabulous & very professional to work with. They were so good at answering questions & working within our budget. The construction team were all very easy to work with, they finished the job & workspace was so clean. I’m very very happy with the job & my sunroom is exactly how I pictured it would look. I would definitely recommend this company if you’re looking for an amazing sunroom. I can’t believe how fast the construction went up. We made a good choice. I cannot wait to decorate our new space.

We chose Tropical Sunrooms based on recommendations we'd received from other people (former clients) we know. As with other clients I'm sure, we did have to wait for our 3-season sunroom due to COVID and supply chain issues. However, it was WELL worth the wait! We couldn't be happier with our sunroom - from it's appearance, to the quality of the materials, to the workmanship itself. All were superb! Kenn and Neil were both a dream to work with and the crew who constructed the room were polite, respectful and always open to our questions as they worked. The room went up in about a week's time, the job site was left clean every day and the crew was extremely organized. The crew was happy also, to install a ceiling fan and the outside lights we bought, at no extra cost. We were very impressed with the quality of their work and the product itself. So glad we went ahead with this project and that we chose Tropical Sunrooms to do the work - we so appreciated their accommodating work ethic and their professionalism. Highly recommend!

We waited a while for the sunroom due to related Covid delays. It was worth the wait and the cost. We had it built around our hot tub so that we could enjoy the hot tub all year around. The sunroom is also a great quite room to escape and relax. The workman ship done was excellent. Any issues or concerns we had were resolved quickly. Neil was always easy to get a hold of and very helpful. We highly recommend using them. If we ever move to another house we would call them to build another one.
