Gary's Custom Marine

Gary knows his stuff, is great to work with and is meticulous in his work. I strongly recommend him to anyone getting a boat cover. Mine was a small job, but he took the same care as if it was a big cruiser.

It's eleven years since Gary made a custom top for me, will the quality of material and hardware it's still like brand new, recently bought a jet boat and will be going to see Gary for a new cover.

I called Gary and got an approximate quote for a boat cover and bimini. I then drove from Oakville and chose my colours and left the boat with Gary. My Wakeboard tower is a little unusual and so the bimini top was a little tricky. I was super thrilled with the results and the quality of Gary's work. He is a pro, does the work himself and that showed in small details.

Gary just finished a travel cover and Bimini for my bow rider. The quality of the work is excellent, the price was fair and it was done quickly. Thanks Gary!

If you own a sailboat and are looking to have work done on a dodger or bimini, don't bother calling Gary's Custom Marine... He apparently doesn't get along" with sail boaters

Was great to deal with Gary. He suggested a new cover that wrapped around to protect the windshield on my bow rider that ties in securely and neatly with a zipper and velcro to the bow cover, edges of cover are reinforced for strength and Gary also added a rubber seal to the bow cover to keep wind and rain out when towing. Quickly picked colors and picked it up in under 2 weeks. Super impressed with the quality and workmanship. All at a very reasonable price.

Give Gary a call if you want a boat top or cover made. Gary has excellent attention to detail, flexible hours and uses great products. If you want a custom quality boat top made in a timely fashion you don't have to look any further. Highly recommend this business.

UPDATE: A picture speaks a thousand words so here they are. The rain was crazy for 3 days, don't know if pictures do it justice. With the factory canvass, I would get 3-4 inches of water in the front of the ski locker after any kind of rainfall, that could not drain out the hole in the rear because of the forward angle of the driveway. In the bilge, always water up to the drain plug hole and deeper towards the front. Anyhow as you can see from the pictures with Gary's new canvass, after three days of torrential rain, not a drop inside the boat! (there was a tiny bit from the kids before I covered it) I could not belive my eyes.Original review: Bought a new to me boat, only one cover complete with holes so I was worried about waiting for a repair with the rain. I called Gary as I live nearby and he said he could do it same day, and he did with far better quality work than factory. I will be asking him for a full new set this year after i saw how amazing his workmanship is. A real gent don't waste your time elsewhere.

Called Gary at the beginning of May and he said it would be mid to late June to get it in. Got a call Holiday Monday in May saying he had a cancelation. Dropped it off Tuesday had a good conversation about what I wanted and colors and Picked it up Friday! Well worth the money and Gary is very talented and knowledgeable.
