Seniors for Seniors

Joachim's support and practical care for my mother-in-law has made a strongly positive difference in her life; she is happier, is at least risk in her home, and we don't have to worry about her arriving at her appointments on time. Our SFS home care companion, Joachim, has strengths in organization, communication and negotiation, problem solving and planning. Specific comments include -1. Problem solving - very good, works well with family, good outcomes2. Communication - very good with client, family, service providers and health care professionals - in person, by telephone, email and messaging3. Food safety - very good fridge hygiene, has made a strong improvement in food quality and safety4. Driving to appointments - very good, on-time, plans for traffic and weather5. Liaison with client's health team - very good, diplomatic, courteous, effective6. Relationship with client and family - very good - good rapport, good negotiating skills, good ability to change over time with small steps that are agreeable to client, acts as an ombudsmen7. Health Monitoring for general status, alertness, mental capacity, BP, dental care is good and regular, positively influences client, regular automated BP readings and recording8. Flexibility - very good at scheduling, pick up, and managing changing priorities

We have been using the driver service from Seniors for Seniors for my mother. I can't say enough about how good her driver has been to her. He is extremely attentive and treats her like gold. We live in a different city and it has been a great relief to have my mother's transportation needs in the hands of such a caring person.
