Brenda is a very skilled Massage Therapist who's techniques are gentle but therapeutic at the same time. I have had treatments from her on numerous occasion's and always leave feeling deeply relaxed. I would highly recommend!

I came to Brenda with a frozen shoulder that other modalities hadn't been able to treat effectively. I'd seen an osteopath several times, but had not been able to gain any additional range of motion from those treatments. Over the course of about 3 hours in total of Brenda's expert application of various strategies (deep massage, cupping, and somatics therapy), she was able to make progress and gain some extra mobility by releasing the trigger points which have built up around my shoulder. I know that sounds a bit technical, but the result was more easy, natural movement of a previously very stiff and stubborn shoulder! 3 hours of massage won't cure" a frozen shoulder

I had seen the same masseuse for over a decade. Having moved, and being over a hundred km's away I had to find someone new. It's really hard to find someone exceptionally good, fairly priced and I can see around my working schedule.Brenda has been doing this for two decades, and after a few questions was working on all my issues. The first time I saw her, my neck was so sore I couldn't even 'shoulder check'. She ever so gently worked all the muscles until my neck was able to move again. I slept for the rest of the afternoon. I went to see her again for a less urgent massage and felt great after with the obligatory afternoon nap.Brenda herself is a very good natured and kind person, who has a sense of humour. She has a very soft and kind voice. I have very sensitive skin, and bruise easily, so I really appreciate leaving the appointment feeling better and not worse.I would highly recommend Brenda, and suggest you also get one of her handmade heating / cooling bags. I am the proud owner of one in a red plaid colour, that looks great in my living room but also helps after sitting at my desk all week.

This was a terrific experience. I got an exceptional therapeutic massage, and was so pleased with the professionalism of Brenda during this experience. She checked with me throughout to ensure that I was comfortable and satisfied with the massage. If anyone doesn't have a RMT they are happy with, I would encourage them to give Heartwood Massage a try.

Brenda is awesome! I arrived in ALOT of pain, the day before my massage I was applying tiger balm to my back every few hours just to get through the day. My pain decreased after seeing her, two days later I've only had to apply tiger balm again once so far first thing in the morning. She is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about helping her clients and takes time for detail. Would highly recommend.

Brenda is professional and highly educated, but works with your body, like it is the most fine and precious item before her. She takes the time to put in special effort, and is both deep and impactive with her work while simultaneously being non invasive and encouraging to the painful or blocked areas.I would highly recommend her.

Brenda has shared her somatic skills with me in the past year with super results. She is gentle and caring and explains well. I continue to do the exercises she taught me, helping my body to subtly release underlying tension that was inhibiting good alignment. Brenda is great at what she does, utilizing a variety of skills to meet your needs. I highly recommend her.

We have so many wonderful massage therapists in the area.But once we found Brenda, only her services would do!I consider her a holistic massage therapist in that she goes above and beyond our scheduled sessions to address our issues. More than once, she has emailed me after a session with some new information to help whatever physical issue I might be having. She is a gem and we are so fortunate to have her near us.
