Awesome brewery to go and try great selection of beers and great food. The flights of beer are reasonably priced and a great option to try a few different ones without the commitment of buying a pint. I had the pork belly sandwich and wow it was absolutely great, the big chunks of pork belly were super tender and the apple based slaw was a nice touch and added just enough sweetness to compliment the pork. Highly recommend going to here if you're in the area.

I’m reluctant to review this place because quite honestly I don’t want too many people to find out about this hidden gem! From fantastic brews on tap to great eats to a unique experience sitting in the warehouse area where the beers are brewed, the overall experience is just a lot of fun!Currently offering 16 different selections of their craft beers on tap, I highly recommend getting a flight so you can sample a few types. At only $8 it’s a great way to try a few unique brews without breaking the bank. And the servers are all very friendly and happy to make recommendations for you too.Recently I ordered their pork tacos and they were delicious! The pork belly is braised in Category 12’s own Juicy Data IPA and it was amazingly tender and flavorful! (You’ll notice only 2 tacos in the pic but that’s because I could t wait to scarf one back before I took a pic haha)

Category 12 is not what you’d expect from the outside! Very interesting science theme, with unique decor and a seating area outside in the parking lot.I highly recommend a stop here for a beer tasting. There seemed to be a lot of cyclists stopping here as well to fill up their growlers and have a quick drink.

I had heard great things about this brewery and was looking forward to trying it. When we arrived it was very busy and so we waited inside for a minute or two and then decided it was too busy and chose to leave - nothing wrong on their end, simply too busy. On our way out we spoke with the owner and she told us if we sat inside first we could then potentially get a spot on the patio. We sat inside for just shy of 10 minutes without any service or general acknowledgement. I'm sure the beer is great but the service for us was quite poor, sadly.

Amazing! Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Spending a weekend on the island and they gave us so many ideas on places to check out. Absolutely recommend stopping by to try some of their tasty beers! Loved the Hazy IPA.

A nice and cute brewery in an hour unexpected commercial neighbourhood. Variety of beer, cider and some limited food item on the menu. It’s a peaceful place to relax and enjoy your beer.

Great Lunch on the patio at Category 12 Brewery and Bistro! We had the Charcuterie Plate and Pork Belly Sandwich with Crispy Potatoes. Both were amazing, delicious and great value.I tried their Oktoberfest Lager (Munich Helles - 5.0%) and Irrational IPA (8.2%) and both were very good. The Helles was a bit lighter flavored and the Irrational was very bold and funky!My wife and I would recommend Category 12.

This was by far our favourite brewery with our entire Victoria brewery trip.The food was terrific and the atmosphere was amazing……now the beers…..Amazing and great tastes and fairly priced. If you only stop at a couple of place, make sure you’d top at this place. It’s a must stop. We will be back. Thank you.

Great taproom, with a variety of beer on tap and canned for sale. You can get growler fills and have a bite to eat all in one location. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Staff can answer all questions on their products, get a taste to see if you like it.
