Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sudbury

This was a great location but that's where it ended for us. We waited forever for a staff member to appear at the front desk, we tried calling while we stood at the front desk at 6 pm on a Saturday night to check in. Finally my husband had to go looking for someone and finally found someone in a locked office room who seemed reluctant to come do their job. We had a room just doors down from the reception area where it was noisy. The room faced the noisy parking lot and whoever was above us was stomping around at midnight. Rooms are not sound proof, beds were so uncomfortable, the sheets were wrinkled and I hope the beds were changed and not just made. It was way overpriced for what we got. We would never return.

Was a great stay. Staff was very professional. My son lost his chain was so happy the staff had it at the front desk. Only down was that our room had a musty smell to it.

Room was excellent, bed extremely comfortable, clean.Breakfast has good choices. Service at the front desk excellent. Great location for close by shopping.

Rooms are small and clean, also have some cosmetic damage that needs attention (drywall)No one has cleaned the men's bathroom in lobby in 3 days now, may be more. Same overfilled garbage. Lobby garbage has egg and syrup smeared from the day before. Breakfast menu has not changed yet, so I hope you like scrambled and hotel sausage.

Short of location, this was close to the bottom of recommended places to stay. Not sure if it was a staffing issue but breakfast was not very well supplied we had to ask the front desk for refills of empty food which we wish we ate elsewhere. Room was small but did the job.

I have never stayed at this hotel before because I wasn’t familiar with the chain, but quickly realized it was a Wyndham hotel. It’s new and very clean and the staff are all very friendly. The breakfast room was well-maintained with somebody constantly cleaning, organizing, and refilling the food stations.

It's sad when you see a good facility suffering from poor management. Whilst the facilities were fine, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were clearly not invested in the guest experience, and it didn't feel that welcoming. Check in was done without any sense of welcome, just a flat ID and credit card

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is quiet with no thoroughfare, anyone in the parking lot is at the Hotel. It is easy to get to anywhere in the City. The pool and hot tub are convenient. Breakfast had good options quick in and done.

This is our absolute favourite hotel in Sudbury! I don’t know how it’s only 2 stars. The pool and hot tub is wonderful, free breakfast is amazing and usually we only stay with our daughter but were AMAZED that they also have pet friendly options! The staff is also very friendly and helpful! 10/10

There were retainer elastics from someone else who had stayed in our room previously, on the floor of our room. Gross, and not what I would expect from microtel!Found the beds to be really soft for 2 people. Ample pillows. Otherwise location is close to shopping, restaurants and other nearby towns.The staff working the floor at breakfast on Sunday June 18 were impeccable! Great Service and very accommodating to assist.
