My friend and I grabbed drinks on the patio - Sunday May 14th (Mother's Day) around 2pm. We didn't catch our servers name but he was awesome! Super friendly, honesty, no fuss when we said we were just in for drinks (at first). Gave a great recommendation for food. Honestly, he was a big part of us enjoying our experience. It was refreshing to have such a memorable and pleasant server.We enjoyed 2 rounds of the espresso martinis. We can't wait to come back on another weekend and enjoy the cocktail hour specials (I believe between 3-5pm!).

Ordered the gnudi con funghi at the recommendation of the server. It was very much like gnocchi in texture and flavour, except more pillowy soft. Taste-wise, however, I thought there was too much butter in the dough, and it was too rich with nothing else to balance it out. There wasn't a lot on the plate either, so if you come hungry, be prepared to order apps or get a snack elsewhere.

Ambiance was cute and great service. Food was finger licking good and we would go back to this place. It was a bit pricey, but everything tasted delicious from the nduja pizza, burrata cheese, kale salad, gnudi pasta. We definitely enjoyed the food even though it was super loud. We could barely hear each other. I’m not sure if the restaurant was too small with too many people, but it was loud and crowded.

We dined at Cano on Valentine’s Day and had their $99/pax fixed price menu. Here’s what we ordered and our thoughts:- Salmon tartare: salty, tart, zesty, fresh, meaty. Delicious!- Burrata: well-seasoned, juicy grape tomatoes, fresh pesto, delicious garlic confit, soft cheese. Very delicious!- Beef tenderloin: The beef needed seasoning and it was overdone. Very disappointing. The asparagus, mashed potatoes and shrimp was not bad.- Lobster tail linguine: The lobster was so chewy, it was overcooked. Linguine was slightly over al dente. The dish could do with a little bit more salt.- Flourless chocolate cake: Can’t go wrong with a chocolate cake! Delicious end to wrap up the meal.We didn’t send back our mains because we waited a while for it to be served, and we were hungry. We also felt like we couldn’t really relax and take our time because by 7pm, you could see a crowd forming by the door, waiting to be seated. Our reservation was at 6pm.We were quite excited to dine at Cano because it’s near our home and we really wanted to try the grilled octopus at another occasion. But our mains were quite disappointing, and considering that they were serving only food from the fixed price menu for the evening, it was poor execution. We probably won’t be back, unfortunately.

My favourite restaurant by far. Everything from the staff, food, and service is amazing and they go over the top to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. Love the ambiance of the restaurant as well. Definitely a must try

Cute spot right on St.Clair! Been wanting to try it for awhile and finally had the chance too. Everyone was nice and service was great. Food was good but pastas were a little too salty for my taste. Overall, would go back!!

You can tell if a restaurant owner isn’t trying anymore and it clearly shows here. Service is okay but couldn’t even get past the drinks to try the food. Owner overcharges are is a pure cash grab - go elsewhere (Nodo is an amazing italian restaurant just down the street). Mimosa was $17 the flattest garbage water I’ve ever tasted - flatter than earth.- Local Forest Hill resident

The restaurant is beautiful inside, very clean and elegant. Can definitely be a place where you dress up or go casual. The staff is lovely and as it was a Sunday, it was pretty quiet. There is very minimal seating outside, no patio.Drinks were $12 in the cocktail section so I had a Paloma and it was great, would order again. I also had the Gnudi Con Funghi and it was divine. It was like eating soft, warm pillows. The mushroom sauce was great and I'd highly recommend. they also ask if you want truffles but I declined. I'd definitely come back and try their pizza next time.
