Walked in and found no other customers. The young lady behind the counter was texting. I asked to deposit a bank draft to a 3rd-party account. I was told I’d have to go to the branch at which the account was opened (across the city). Before travelling that far I stopped in at the Queen & Pape location who deposited the draft. If your employees are “working” they should leave their phones in their pocket and give the correct information to customers.

Not a great experience at all. Staff “Supria” and Branch Manager, “Leena Trivedi” need to be more transparent and should accept their mistake. I had $500 credit limit, I Asked for $2500 credit limit and received $1000, without telling me you are eligible for only $1000. End up by heavy decrement on my credit score just for nothing.

Horrible customer service. It is impossible to reach anyone at this branch by phone. The Scotiabank customer service line has a 30 minute wait and when you get through they say they need to have someone at the branch call you. It's a never ending circle!

I don’t leave reviews often but this might be one of the worst banks in all of Toronto. Horrible customer service. Avoid at all costs and don’t even waste your time.

This branch has really gone down hill in recent years. They do not value long term clients and will fight you for a nickel or dime. I pulled the proceeds of a home sale out of this branch because of it.

Horrible customer service from the branch manager. I emailed regarding 3 topics and I asked if they were help to with these requests or put us in touch with someone else. 6 hours later I received a quick email back saying they’ll need to work though the numbers and get back to me tomorrow. That was 9 days ago, 3 days ago I sent a follow up email and I’ve had yet to hear from them or anyone else at this branch. This is the branch manager how could anyone have trust in this branch when it’s clearly not being managed correctly.

Extremely rude manager. Will be closing my account with Scotia and take my business to a different bank all because of the experience I had with the manager today. He didn’t even try to help and wasn’t polite either.

Poor customer service — front desk particularly. Unwillingness to help find solution for simple clerical task — provision of bank statements. Wasted time with argumentative/uncooperative reception representative. Walked away without resolution — disappointed that I have to deal with Scotiabank in the future. Customer service is essential not optional.
