Reflections Hair Salon

After doing much research for a salon that would be able to give my teenage daughter an edgy cut, we settled on Reflections (Bank St.). The stylist we chose advertised that he specializes in funky, edgy styles. Unfortunately, even after showing photos/video examples, the cut that my daughter received in no way resembled what she wanted. The stylist seemed friendly enough, but I have to say that I never felt that we were totally welcome at this salon. Very disappointed and not worth the trip from Manotick!

I had a great experience at Reflections. It's been a few years since i have done anything else except give myself a little trim. Cercin did a great job at helping me pick out a style and colour that worked best for my hair!The one thing i did not realize is that they only take cash tips, so be sure to bring some for your appointment! I will certainly be coming prepared to tip for the great service here next time =)

I had a haircut appointment with Hilton yesterday and it was wonderful. He listened to what I wanted, showed me pictures to make sure we were on the same page, and cut my hair perfectly. My hair looked amazing. Hilton even showed me how to style it to be able to recreate the look I wanted. We had a blast chatting and he made sure I was comfortable. The staff at the salon were all very nice. I will be going back. I fully recommend Reflections!

It took me a while to decide anew where to go. I moved to Ottawa a couple of years ago and didn’t have a good experience so far. Then I made an appointment for a haircut with Marilyn: very pleased, it looks great, exactly what I wanted. She is a good stylist and also a good listener. Thank you, Marilyn!

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! My hair cut boosted my confidence insanely! My hair was super dead before and I also just wanted a new look and I got exactly what I wanted. I feel like a new person lol. Hilton is the best!!!

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this was not a good experience. Quoted $350 for highlights in super thin light hair that has never cost more than $200. Declined and opted just for a trim instead, lost 6 inches and $100. All apparently including the ‘student discount’. Never left a hair salon quite so puzzled.

Forgive my delayed review but I went to Reflections in January completely on a whim. I asked to see a master stylist and by chance got Hilton. I had a very specific request in a hair cut and needed a lot off. Hilton knew exactly what I wanted and was so excited to do it. It was the best hair cut of my life ! It’s also grown out super well and when it gets a bit longer I will go back and ask Hilton to do exactly the same hair cut! I’ve been enjoying the style so much :)The price was really reasonable , he was super professional and personable and overall it was such a great experience. Thank you ❤️

My hairstylist is Hilton. He is fantastic stylist who knows his profession well. So polite , kind and care about my concern. It was the first time that a hairstylist trimmed my hair instead make it short. I just requested not to cut the length and he truly did whatever it was my dream hair style for long time. I strongly recommend him to anyone in the town. Thanks Hilton for the amazing job.

I have great experience at Reflections Hair Salon! Originally I had an appointment for haircut, but changed my mind to try perm on my mid length hair. Luckily it was accommodated on the spot, no wait. I love the result and I love quality of work on my hair. The hairdresser team is awesome! Very friendly and professional, great conversations and attention for details. I definitely will be back!
