Reception is rude and clearly frustrated. My toddler is waiting for an allergy test as per referral from GP and ENT specialist. The only appointment they can offer is over the phone. I tried to understand how that would help me determine my son's allergies, as he has already been given a nose spray for the swollen adenoids, and a test is prerequisite for surgery. I was not clear on how a telephone call will benefit us. Was asking if the telephone call is the first step and a test comes if deemed? Reception cut me off and was rude. I am concerned for my son's health and have had enough back and forth with doctors. Uninterested in receiving allergy meds without understanding the allergies. And in filling their pockets $ with telephone appointments that do not stand to benefit my son.

My little one has seen more than one allergist in the city and our experience with Dr Coates far surpasses our other experiences. He is an older gentleman, extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and took the time to address all of my concerns. At no point did I feel rushed. You can tell this is one of the rare doctors who truly cares about his craft and you are not just a quota to hit and have out the door for the next. Thank you Dr Coates!Bonus - He has a spacious and welcoming office instead of the typical cold white shoebox rooms which helped patients be at ease :)
