So it's not like I'm the pickiest woman alive, but I do like it when companies a) answer email queries promptly b) pick up the phone c) work promptly d) show their work e) are pleasant and professional with customers in person and on the phone and f) charge a fair price for parts and honest work.I had to get the battery swapped out on my laptop and Aref took care of it in far less than an hour and got me on my way. Highly recommended, will consult them again if I have need to. Only insect in the ointment: Try to park closer to their shop than I did, and make sure you have a phone with a QR scanner on it to pay for parking.

I had a less than satisfactory experience with this repair center and felt compelled to share it in the interest of transparency for future customers.I took my laptop in for a free diagnostic, which, while generous, took two days even though they said it would take one and was lacking in detail. Despite spending so much time with my machine, they failed to inform me of a serious issue - a swollen battery, which is a potential hazard.Moreover, they quoted me $295 for what they labelled as a Hardware repair

These guys are great!They rescued my MacBook several times when everyone else believed it was hopeless.They are not only competent, reliable, and reasonably priced, but are also kind and friendly.I teach at SFU Vancouver, so it was handy for me to take my MacBook to their Burrard Street store, but am thrilled that people on the hill will now have access to their services.PS - they provide loaners if needed
