The grocery section is the highlight. Unlike most other discount stores, GT sells recognized national brands (as well as store-brand and off-brand products), just cheaper than the grocery store. There are a few unique products not sold elsewhere.The men's clothing selection tends to skew towards attire for teenagers, and there is very limited selection in larger sizes.

This giant tiger location should have scan your own items available. The cashiers they currently have are grumpy and slow. I would rather watch paint dry than stand in a 10 person line up with only one cashier working. Meanwhile the other employees stocking shelves pretend like the long lineup isn't occurring. Also, their special advertised produce items are never in stock on the weekends.

Has many basic groceries, and a lot of miscellaneous items and home appliances. Decent place to look around if the other stores nearby such as the Atlantic superstore doesn't have the product you are looking for.

Went there to get my regular soup and canned goods order and when I get to the cash I am told that I am not allowed to purchase more than 3 soups because they are on sale at 40 cents less than regular price. There was NO sign on item but when I come every other time I always purchase 6-10 at a time because that all I eat for lunches is ½ a can of soup. Not only couldn't I get my soup, but the cashier was rude and what is the point of wearing a mask on your face if you only cover your mouth. This place is rude and I will never go there again.. Sobeys Oromocto is much more friendly and the prices are about the same anyways.

Good selection and customer service, friendly locals, comparable pricing.Plenty parking by the store - great for families with small children. The store is clean and well kept. Better deals than what I've seen in my own city, can't go wrong with two shirts for men at $12. This is my go to Giant Tiger when I'm staying in Chipman.
