My furnace went out right before Xmas. Needless to say I was so upset. Rose, in their office, was so kind and understanding and sent Hayden out as soon as possible. They were both so nice and patient with me. I’ve been a customer for years and would not use any other service. Thank you again.

I filled in the online form in the evening, asking for a quote to upgrade our heating system. They called at 8am the next day to book a convenient time. Russ came the next day, exactly at the agreed time, and was evidently knowledgeable. We inspected our current system, discussed options, and he made a recommendation. I felt confident in his recommendation, which was to keep our existing boiler - the economics of an upgrade, even with a Fortis rebate, didn't justify the work. A professional service, which I would definitely use again

I think I should write a few lines so that when someone needs a plumbing service they do not hesitate to call North shore Plumbing & Heating, but first of all I want to tell you that they are not paying me to write these lines and they are not my family, they are not my friends, but I am so happy with the work they did in my house that I feel obliged to repay them with a good comment in a fast, good price and quality manner. First I tell you that I got 4 estimates of the work to replace the original old furnace with more than 40 years with a new Lennox signature 70000 BTU, because I tell you that the other three companies came to my house and said that they had to take out 2 tubes for the room near the furnace and that they kept watching until a man arrived who I think is the owner of NSPH and said I need to make a hole here in the bathroom and the two tubes will not be visible. I drew the conclusion that the other three companies that told me that they took it out through the bedroom was because it was much easier for them less work (lazy) and they were charging almost the same, I forgot the others took up to a month to come to install the new furnace, instead NSPH said in less than 5 days it will be installed, we are going to order it now and in 3 days it will arrive at our workshop, the day of the installation arrived, three men arrived at 9 in the morning, they worked without rest all day and around 3:30 pm they left without first showing me everything they did and they taught me how to use the new smart thermostat. therefore I recommend them for any plumbing job, everything was ready to use and the holes that were covered were covered and it was not noticed

I can't recommend North Shore Plumbing & Heating enough! They solved our heating problems in just two visits. On the first visit, their technician identified the problems after a careful examination of both our heat pump and furnace. He explained the issues and suggested options. Long story short, among other issues, our furnace needed a new part. Just a few days after his first visit, he was back with a new part and had our furnace up and running in no time.North Shore was on time for both visits. Their technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and I really appreciated how diligent he was examining and determining the problems with our system. He also explained everything clearly so that I, a layman, understood what was wrong and how it could be fixed.Everything was so easy and fast! They were also responsive and courteous on the phone. Our house is nice and warm! I will be using North Shore any time I have HVAC issues in the future.

My heater broke down and they were so fast to identify the problem, find an interim solution, take care of the warranty, and install the new parts. I would definitely recommend their services.

I will say up front we have had many neighbours use NS Heating and Plumbing for their furnace and other plumbing needs and I’ve heard all good things about those experiences. So I am mostly trying to post this for folks looking for heat pumps as they are becoming more prevalent.Had someone come look at our situation which was to replace our gas furnace with a heat pump. I felt like I was talked down to about my desire to switch off natural gas, and it felt like the sales person didn't really want my business. My instinct was that they were trying to push an easier install which was to replace our furnace with a new high efficiency gas furnace and then do a separate air conditioning unit. I never got any follow up or quote, and eventually I went with another company.I can't speak to the quality of their repairs or installers, but I wanted to let folks know about my initial sales experience.Editing this to say I think it’s petty and unprofessional to bring my other review into this. If you’ve read it you’ll see I highlighted areas where they fell short and ways it could go better in the future. I also mentioned everything that went well with the project. I would also not characterize 4 stars as a negative review, so if you think a review with constructive criticism is not worthy of your business then I guess we both made the right decision.

I would keep away from this company!!! They talk about Friendly staff and trusted reputation. Had an encounter with a technician of this company whom was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful! I would never trust high value and reputation and high quality service from such employee! So the Trusted staff and reputation that they claim on their website are just empty words seeing such inconsiderate and impolite employee! I would keep away from them at all cost!"

North Shore Plumbing did a great job of analyzing our needs and installed a Lennox unit which is so quiet you don't know it's running. Very happy with this company and I have recommended them to all of my friends.

I contacted North Shore after giving up on my installing contractor. I hired a Big Box" store to install my Lennox Heat Pump system and after multiple trips I lost faith they knew what they were doing. The North Shore tech had it solved after the first visit. He knew my system well and was competent"

Highly recommended! I previously had used North Shore Plumbing and Heating years ago when I had a furnace issue. They came out and shut my furnace off due to CO2 levels being too high. They then noticed that our furnace was still under warranty so instead of giving me a quote for a brand new furnace, they went out of their way to order the part (had to come from China) and get it installed. Since this issue my furnace has been working amazing up to this year. This year I called them out due to a smell and the thermostat shutting off and on....they came out twice to fix it! Amazing service!!! Thanks for the service people who came into my home to ensure everything was safe for my family. Trisha and Brandon from the office were also incredible to help me out with my issues. Highly rated!!!
