The jerk chicken came with vegetables and rice and beans. The rice had a nice coconut flavour. Seafood soup was really interesting like a nice healthy homemade broth-soup with bits of shrimp shell and such that you can fish out once you finish the second half at home. Good value.

Attended a party here. Food was amazing! The curry goat just melts in your mouth. Everything is seasoned well and tastes delicious. The dj that played was also great

This place has gone downhill used to be absolutely phenomenal and has deteriorated overtime I think mainly because the owner is rarely there anymore.

I go to Fred's several times a week to buy their soup. Soup options change daily between chicken, beef, seafood, chicken foot and goat soup. It's fresh and has flavor. The $5 price sweets me the most!

Got jerk chicken rice n peas. Every piece of chicken was PINK inside, barely any spices. Oxtail gravy was bland. Rice was ok. Service was what u would expect from a place like this... Y'all know what I mean.

Portions are good, price is fair. The quality of the food is also good, but it is not the best jerk chicken in the city. The flavour of the jerk chicken is also good, but the skin of the chicken wasn’t that good. In addition, they have veggies as a side not coleslaw like most other places.

Always good vibes at freds. Only wish it did open even one Sunday a month or open later. Food is amazing. Try the jerk salmon with pasta.
