10 years ago, we hired Western Built Windows to upgrade a few windows in our house. We were so impressed with quality of the finished product that we hired him for many more commissions up until now. Vinh, the manager, has always been extremely polite, knowledgeable, and talented with his work. We appreciate his punctuality and professionalism – showing up early, planning everything ahead, and never back-tracking for parts unlike other businesses we’ve dealt with.I’m amazed at his quick and efficient work ethic to create durable yet beautiful repairs and home renovations. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price. It’s always nice to know hard-working people like Vinh, that will go above and beyond to get the job done with excellence setting the standard for his industry. Update 2020: windows still not fixed from Vinh installing bad window sliders. Western Built will not respond to my daughters need for their poor work. Not a member of BBB. Stay away.Update 2019 : Expensive repairs and then window tracks Vinh the manager replaced are now broken less than a year into the repair .He was to provide service to my tenant to fix 2 windows tracks.His weak English skills resulted in difficulty in my understanding of how long and the price to repair 2 vertical sliders.The repairs were done but the cost was obscene. Travel, 40 minutes of repair and parts cost me $500. Plus GST.Vinh threatened to go back to the tenant's house and take out the new parts.I told Vinh that would be trespassing.I paid the $525 to not put the tenants under stress.If you use this company understand they don't charge by the hour nor give prices of parts separate from labour.It's a fixed price.Get another quote to ensure you are getting a fair price.He does not accept MC or Visa. Either.

I cannot praise Vinh and his group highly enough. I called him in desperation, having completely broken a large window trying to repair a small crack (well, it worked on my car windshield!). He came promptly to measure the window, gave me a estimate and two weeks later replaced the window – it look perfect. This is a family organization; user-friendly, totally professional, and efficient. Vinh has a great sense of humour as well – always a plus! Almost 2 weeks ago I was in a very stressful situation because of a window leak in my upstairs bedroom that caused water damage on my ceiling. I tried calling places but since it was a Sunday all of the offices were closed. Only Vinh answered my call and he came on that day for inspection and quotation and he promised to replace my window in 1 1/2 weeks! The next day other business were calling me and providing me a 3-4 months timeline. I went for Vinh because I needed to get it done right away to prevent further damage and he seems very knowledgable. Today, Vinh and his wife delivered their promise. After the brutal winter we endured - I was constantly cold in my own house. Vinh Van Ho came to the house and said that I needed a better living room window. Him and his partner came to the house and did a professional and beyond what I expected as the foundation was not the best. They managed to level the the foundation and install the window exceeding my expectations. My house is now warm and toasty. I would recommend anyone who wants a professional and caring gentleman to help them with their windows call Vinh Van Ho they will not be dissapointed. My Window looks awesome and I am warm again.

Broke a window pane in my sliding dual pane window. It was fixed in 2 hours...wow. Very few places I know can offer this kind of service.

Grear windows and doors quick and clean job fast and good to get you what you need when the other companies would take 4-5 weeks or more

i can't say enough good things about Vihn. He did our windows in a place over six years ago and when we moved we had him replace the windows in the next house. He also custom designed and installed a door for us. As we have got to know Vihn we have been able to better understand each other - his first language is not English. But, we knew that when we met, just made sure we understood each other and had no issues consequently. We found spoken conversation usually better than email. He has gone above and beyond for us (e.g. Made sure moldy windows were removed and lowered out to avoid contaminating the house). He comes in at or in most cases, below what others are charging. He is timely and stuck to his quote. I have recommended Vihn at least a dozen times and people have reported back to me that he has been awesome. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants good quality service and a custom product.

I had an emergency home window repair (emergency because my window handle broke and consequently wouldn't shut... meanwhile the temperature outside had dropped to between -20 & -30). Vinh was able to help me the same day I called after I got home from work. He was on time, efficient and very personable. I would highly recommend this company.

Vinh saved my home one day when my window was leaking.He has since shown incredible customer service in his emergency work but also fixing the same problem in all my windows.I hired him to do all my window repairs and he was so accommodating and his work has been excellent.Hire this guy!
