The door key wasn't working all time. Had been asked for 3 times to change the key code. Never worked until we left the hotel on last day lol. When I was at front desk to ask the key code changed the second time, I heard there was key issue for the people infont of me too.

Not remotely worth the price. A few extra not mentioned fees as well as not very accommodating. The rooms are pretty basic and dated. But it does the trick if you are in a last minute jam.The service was far from courteous. They did their job, but asides from 1 employee, the rest were a bit rude. It's definitely not in the heart of the city as they advertise. Spend a few extra dollars to be in a better hotel that's more central.

It's one of the cheaper hotels close to downtown Montreal. The rooms are decent, they were clean when we entered, but it was missing the microwave and the bathroom light was not working. When I called the front desk to switch rooms the attendant was rude. There are many people that loiter around the front of the hotel, even into the wee hours of the morning. Just sitting there smoking cigarettes. If you're wondering why there are a bunch of indigenous people there its because this hotel has a contract to house them for free when they come to the big city for hospital visits. Some are really nice and cool to talk to, others just loiter by the lobby which takes away from the hotels appearance. For the price it's not bad but I won't stay here again.

I tried to get a room over the long weekend. I waited in line found out they were booked solid. I spent maybe 5 minutes trying to find a nearby hotel with accommodations. Then I was dinged $8 for parking that they knew I didn't stay at. Very sad way of exploiting people in a desperate situation. They could have validated parking and received a positive review.

Stayed there Feb. 24th for 2 nights as my son and I went to the Habs game. Room was good, big and comfortable. The linoleum for the floor was different but worked out as snow and other stuff stuck to our shoes so cleaning the floor would be easy. Beds were comfortable and clean. My only caveat is the security deposit that I paid on my debit card was never returned to me even though I was told it would be returned to me after I check out. I sent 2 emails and called, no one has gotten back to me. For this reason I wouldn't book another room there when we decide to go back to Montreal. **Update: Many thanks to Bridgette as she reached out to me and the situation was resolved quickly and efficiently. She deserves a lot of credit. Re-evaluating my decision to stay at an other hotel next time I'm in Montreal.

For a budget hotel, you get a lot. The rooms are quite clean and the furniture is new, especially the beds. On paper, the hotel has a restaurant, a gym, a gift shop, meeting rooms, and a swimming pool. These things exist but aren’t quite as nice as the pictures might indicate, though they are often close and you find yourself keeping in mind the low price of staying here. For example I sat in the restaurant twice without being served, and the patrons had a desperate look. The meeting rooms vary a bit in terms of their furniture, but, again, budget pricing. What brought it down to three stars to me (from four) was the inconsistent hot water when taking a shower—a little surprise every minute or so!

Simple clean hotel, locations ok and the price was reasonable for a private room. There were a few amenities but I didn’t partake in them so cant comment.

Terrible. Loud, loud! LOUD!!!!!! Impossible to sleep in this hotel. Staying here is torture. Ruined my family weekend. Worst decision ever to stay here. No help and no refunds. Avoid this hotel.

You get what you pay for. We stayed here because the Best Western was fully booked due to the Nickelback concert and the grand prix being the same week. The room was partially cleaned, we stayed in 405 and the one bed had a dirty duvet with someone else's blood on it, the toilet was visibly dirty with feces. The staff were friendly, however the cleaning ladies insisted on having conversations with us but they only spoke Spanish, we do not. There was always a large lineup for the elevator and the hotel stairs looked like they should be for staff only as they are not easily accessible for the general public. It appears the hotel has social services on the second floor so there were always extra people around the building, I guess that's why our door had 3 deadbolts on it...The parking garage is covered but limited and the traffic in front of the building makes it impossible to drive anywhere. I do not recommend.

Experience overall was pretty lackluster. Booked two rooms for the F1 weekend and one room didn't receive housekeeping any of the days despite requests.Even given the $4000+ cost for the rooms, parking was still an additional $110 for 72 hours.Safes did not work and items left in the car.
