I have a life long history of dental anxiety. I could not have found a better, more understanding and caring dentist to take care of me and my teeth! All of the staff are so caring, and always checking in on my comfort level. Dr. Tatra is happy to provide a spectrum of alternatives for pain and anxiety management, and they do not try to talk me out of it or make a big deal when I request something to help my extreme nerves when having procedures such as fillings done. The office is very high-tech and welcoming, I enjoy being able to watch photos or tv or listen to music during my cleanings. I would highly recommend Dr Tatra and his staff to those who hate the dentist"!"

Dr Tatra and his crew are exceptional. I hadn't been to the dentist in over a decade and was moving from Victoria with a week to spare and they managed to clean all of my teeth painlessly with cutting edge technology. Everyone explained every step to me and they diagnosed decay and early stages of gum disease while recommending solution and restorative practices I could do on my own. I can't recommend them enough.

I cannot say enough kind words about Dr. Tatra and his team. I truly appreciate all they do for me when I am there. The care that they provide patients is seriously the best! Professional and attentive. The education, follow up and honestly about my dental treatments is always there. During this time with Covid-19, extra precautions taken to ensure everyone's safety ( the patient and the team). This means a lot as- especially now.

I have tried several dentists in the city and finally found one that I feel cares about me, listens to me and doesn't try to push cosmetic things I do not need. Dr. Tatra is straight forward, friendly and explains all of your options. I avoided the dentist for years but now I feel so much relief knowing my oral hygiene is being looked after regularly. I literally cannot thank Dr. Tatra and his awesome staff enough! Save yourself some time and just try him first. There is a reason he is one of the top rated dentists in Victoria!!

Best dental care I've ever received and I'm over 60, moved around a LOT so have had many dentists. Dr. Tatra is the best!!

I am so pleased I found Dr. Tatra! Everyone at the office has been so friendly and accommodating. I was told by another dentist that I would need to either take out a line of credit or get dentures if I couldn’t afford to save my teeth. I was feeling pretty defeated as I am only 26 years old but decided to get a second opinion. I’m so glad that I did as Dr. Tatra took the time to go over my scans and explain what was needed- definitely some fillings but definitely NOT dentures and all could be done within my insurance. Dr. Tatra took the time to call and check in to see how I was doing the evening after my first appointment, and was quick to answer me on the weekend when I let him know I was experiencing discomfort. If you are feeling “done” with the dentist, don’t give up before you see Dr. Tatra!

Dr. Tatra and his staff are the most professional and sincere people. My hygienist, Heather, always makes me feel like I am among family and friends while I am there. Dr. Tatra is a great dentist, I have no fear or suspicion when he works on my teeth that I am getting any less than the best. The office is very clean, beautiful and comfortable :)I found Dr. Tatra as a second opinion after having a poorly done root canal at Hillside Dental Care and have never looked back. His concern for my previous treatment and his honesty about how to move forward with the damage done has more than proven to me that he values his patients.It took me years to find him BUT If your dentist shopping, this is the one!

Dr. Tatra and the staff redefine professionalism and thoroughness. You feel very cared for, and everyone knows your specific situation as soon as you walk in. The technology used in the office means that you can see exactly what your teeth look like, and the comparison images allow you to see how things have changed from visit to visit. Dr. Tatra is excellent at explaining everything about a procedure and uses evidence from the images to justify his work. It's also impressive the amount of professional development that the staff participate in - you'll hear of regular courses they take, and they obviously are up to date on the latest dental technologies and procedures. I'd recommend Dr. Tatra and the staff to anyone who's looking for a dentist.Update - August 2020With COVID, there was obviously some concern about going to the dentist for my recent cleaning - I didn't need to be worried in the slightest. Dr. Tatra and his team have done an excellent job with respect to the safety of everyone in the office. The same high quality of care was delivered while following and exceeding all health guidelines.
