Rosie's was highly recommended to us by hotel staff and it was excellent. We had the Cold Plate and Turkey Dinner - what can I say, fast service, delicious, good value for money. And the bakery up front - buns, cakes, pies, pastries and chocolate Moose Farts (!). We were too full to partake but guessing from the shelves, all bakery goods are very popular with customers. You Gotta Eat Here!

Straight up DELICIOUS! Fish and chips were top notch (although the pieces of fish were quite small) and the gravy was divine. The place was very busy on a Sunday afternoon, so I am glad we got a table. Also we loved the wall of fame at the back.

Found this treasure on our way to St. Anthony, a little off the road but well worth it. So much so our plans included stopping in on our way back. Sandwich, wraps to full meals were all good.....French fries with gravy and dressing was a big hit.

This is by far the best family owned dinner I have ever eaten at. The portion sizes are huge, well worth the money. The baked goods look amazing, and prices are good.

My mom and I went here for lunch to celebrate my birthday. It was my first time. I ordered the Hot Roast Beef Sandwhich with fries and gravy, there was a side of peas and carrots. The fries were good, the roast beef was decently thick slices piled up and all was smothered in a rich, gravy. I could have drunk that alone...lol. Mom had the Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad Wrap with fries, gravy on the side. The wrap was really good, the romaine crisp, and perfectly dressed. The service was great, the staff friendly and the atmosphere was nice and homey. They even brought me a complimentary piece of chocolate cake with vanilla icing for dessert. It was such a simple and sweet gesture and made me feel special. I highly recommend. Thank you for the great experience and making my birthday a little more extra special.

If you ever find yourself in Gander (Come From Away!), stop by this lovely and friendly establishment. We stopped in twice on our vacation to this area of Newfoundland and both times the food was great and the service exceptional. If coming on Sunday, don't miss the Sunday Dinner or the Jigg - (but unless you are really really really hungry, plan on splitting it!)

The food that I had here tonight was incredible. The beef barley soup was beyond compare and served with a fresh baked hot roll.EditI've had the roast beef dinner and the turkey club sandwich this past week. Both were very good. The staff are wonderful as well. This is a very busy restaurant and for good reason.Don't take my word for it.... go eat there. And don't forget to buy some baked goods to take home. You will not regret it.

Awesome.. and great little bakery too..place was really busy and I soon realized why...great staff and great food..had breakfast here as well..amazing!!..bread is fresh from their bakery
