Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was disappointed in the taste. The meat was dry and flavourless, and the bread had an unappealing, peculiar smell. The potato salad was bland and extremely expensive. This is the second time I’ve given Sam’s a try, and I’ve been a little disappointed each time.I have heard so many great things and really wanted to like it! I may be ordering the wrong items, I’m not sure.BUT their pickled eggs are incredible and I will definitely be back for those! I’m getting a whole jar next time!

The food is amazing from what I had. I had the Reuben sandwich. I haven’t had the potato salad yet, but I’m sure that’s gonna be just as good even if not, the sandwich is amazing. The staff is super cool one of the chefs collects records so that’s a win in my book. Call Ron really nice people. Been there for 13 years I love supporting the local eats. I will definitely be back.

I've been here for lunch or breakfast more times than I can count. Sam and crew are the best. They make the best sandwiches across the board. They are happy to make recommendations. The sandwiches are always consistent too, no matter who makes them. I love the pickles. If you're hungry have the vegetarian boyfriend; you won't be disappointed!

Hands down the most amazing sandwich I have ever had! They have an insane amount of options to choose from.I got the BLT and they must’ve used about 8 strips of real hardy bacon. Not that paper bacon you get everywhere else. The bread was fresh and soft, ripe juicy tomatoes. Best BLT I’ve ever tasted

So many vegetarian and vegan options! Got the vegetarian boyfriend and it packed with flavour. Can’t wait to try all their other veggie sandwiches.I also got a side macaroni salad and it was delish!Can’t wait to come back

There's nothing bad to say about Sam's in my opinion. Everything is so fresh and delicious, I've probably tried just about every sandwich on the menu and have yet to be displeased. I'm always looking forward to Monday's to see what amazing feature sandwich they've come up with. Mack attack is one of my common go to's but honestly it's hard to choose a favourite.A Special request to add the mie goreng toastie to the menu permanently, lol. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD.

Five years later, my husband is vegetarian and we still have loads of excellent options at Sam's. Can't recommend them enough.---We love Sam's! All meats are cured in house and the care and attention really shows. Personal favourites are the Gord-o-mania (best turkey club I've ever eaten, hands down), the Mort and the Mecha reuben. Sam's baked beans are incredible. I like to order them as a side, topped with macaroni salad. They call it summer there because it's literally the taste of summer. Go here!

This is the best sandwich place I have gone to in a VERY long time! The staff are so friendly and ready to help you. They layer the sandwich so your bread don't go soggy right away, you can have a casual conversation then go back to the sandwich. I'm from out of town and now have made it a point I need to go here when I come back! Been twice now.. different times and both times was still good as ever!!! The staff are so polite! Clean place!

I am sorry to say that my previous positive experiences at Sam's have been totally undone by my last two visits. I had a pulled pork sandwich that was so hot (spicy) that it was inedible a few weeks ago. That didn't bother me too much so my husband and I ordered today. I purposely order my roast beef sandwich without tomato so it wouldn't be soggy but yuck... there was one slice of beef and a cup of sauce! My husband's Killah Zillah sandwich was so soggy you could wring it out like a sponge. Inedible. New cook? Whatever... do better.
