Tannery Event Centre

I'm a wedding photographer, and photographing a wedding at the Tannery Event Centre was absolutely magical.Firstly, there are so many different spaces within the Tannery, which means that you can capture a variety of stunning wedding images both indoors and outdoors. It's really central, so going for a stroll, or even getting ready nearby (e.g. at the Walper Hotel) and then retreating there at the end of the night is a breeze.The projections on the side panels are stunning, and make for really memorable images, particularly during the dancing portion of the evening.And guests have SO MUCH SPACE to roam and mingle.It feels airy and spacious and inviting all at once.I would highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

Pretty good venue. When we were there last their fancy video displays were misaligned which ended up being pretty distracting but I'm sure that was a temporary issue that they would fix as soon as possible.

Great venue, lots of parking around for free if you're going in the evening after normal working hours.

Really great vibe, and the 3-wall projection system is a chance to do something interactive and interesting instead of a boring PowerPoint. Good food options here and the entire complex has interesting stuff going on.

Very nicely refurbished. The food was a buffet style which was mediocre at best and very unimaginative ( i hear they are quite pricey so thank goodness i wasn't paying for it). The audio and projection system was excellent in both charity and ease of listening.

Great place for a wedding in the heart of downtown Kitchener.

Beautiful place for events, I’ve been to a couple weddings hosted at this event space and the place is beautiful for receptions. Make sure to use the screens. I find they tend to be under utilized and honestly they are a wonderful way to decorate!

I think it's cool that the projector screens wrap around the walls. The centre itself feels kinda cozy, so talks and whatnot seem more intimate. That's not to say it's a small venue -- it's pretty spacious in fact.

One of the coolest places I've visited in Waterloo. This incubator is a great place for a small office. The tour was super amazing and it was so cool to see where all the tech companies were holding their meetings and using as space. The food here was above and beyond good! One of the best buffet foods I've ever had. Staff were super friendly and drinks were delicious
