I went to Avtech to obtain a quote for my extension project on my heritage home. I spoke with Darren in his office and he gave me a verbal estimate for the cost of the job. This initial estimate was in line with other quotes I had obtained. Darren then said he needed a $300 deposit to obtain information from heritage. He said if everything checks out at heritage then this ballpark quote would be provided in an invoice. I already knew the answers to his questions as I already spoke to heritage several times. Thinking the quote would be in the ballpark I gave the $300 deposit. He told me he would go to heritage that day or the next. It took over a week of me hounding for him to go.
