Joe's BBQ boat

A beautiful experience. Doesn't includes food or cuttlery, so be aware of that. Also, alcohol prohibited. We rented it for the sunset hour and was an amazing view. One member of our party felt sick at the beginning, so we had to go back to drop her and then leave again. I recomend not coming if you are easily motion sick, or not to eat. Also consider bringing ginger candies or something for nausea. The rest of my party was OK, we had fun, cooked ribs successfully within 1 hour, and even though at the beginning was a little hard to get it, the driving was easy. The boat is not fast, so don't worry about that. Remember not drinking much liquids, since you will not be able to go washroom at least for 2 hours. I recommend.

We went out on Sunday August 16th. Rented 2 boats and had an awesome time. BBQ worked great and hooked to a bigger tank so no worries about running out of gas. Batteries for the motors were fully charged as well. Boats were very clean and lots of storage under each seat. Umbrellas are nice touch as it was one of the hottest days on record. Very reasonable rates, especially when filling the boat with the 8 maximum. We will be back!

Joe's BBQ Boat was everything that I had hoped for a fun weekend out with friends. The safety talk was thorough but efficient, and staff had us on the water in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this experience, and will definitely be returning with a new group soon. Thank you Corey for all the hard work and really making the day special!

Very Poor Service. Have been trying to reach out from 2 weeks nobody answered the phone. I visited their office to book , looking at their google website showed open but the office has been temporarily closed. That is really misleading. Very disappointed. If could i would rate them 0 or negative.

Had a really great experience, even though it ended up raining on us. Corey was very prompt, helpful and kind when responding to my email inquiries beforehand. Megan was also incredibly friendly and accommodating; we were running behind due to how busy the island was and while we were aware and more than happy to let that eat into our time out on the water she said that she wanted us to get as close to 2 hours out on the water as possible so told us to extend the time we were supposed to return by 15 minutes which we all felt was a really nice gesture. Despite the weather not being in our favor we still really enjoyed our time out on the water and would definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique activity in the city.

I suggest you jump on this activity ASAP. We had a group of 8 people and booked the sunset hours, 6:30-9pm. We watched the sun go down and bbq food in the middle of false creek. The boat goes super slow but it’s the perfect flow for a couple hours on the water. The boat fit 8 of us with tons of room left. We didn’t want to get off, we had so much fun.

The new experience was very good. It is recommended. But the staff is unfriendly and they did't do their job properly. They didn't charge our boat battery 100% and we took the time to come back. When we returned, the boat was barely moving!!!! And they needed us an extra cost for late arrival. It's true that we came in late, but the staff should have charged 100% of the batteries before we leaving and they had to explain that it could take more time to come back. If you want to use this service, make sure that the battery is 100% before you leaving. terrible service.

This is just a bbq boat rental, remember to bring your own food, utensils, and drinks! We had a lot of fun. Personal tip is: don’t bring food that requires long cooking time.

Joe’s BBQ boat was such a unique and fun experience! Maegan was pleasant, serious about safety and well-spoken. The boat was spacious, clean and very fun! If you want some barbecue, to feel like a celebrity on the water and a unique experience with you friends, the definitely try this!We recommend bringing your own cutlery (including bbq tools), cups and plates.
