Great people and a very relaxing atmosphere. The book store there is amazing. Fantastic Barbour shop and the people that run the place are amazing.

Thank you Jay and Durrell for letting my friend Christine and me stay at Windsor House on Thanksgiving night. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast the next morning was wonderful. It was great to talk with you and your guests at breakfast. The house is so clean and beautiful! We called you Thanksgiving morning and you were so gracious to us, even with our last minute request for a place to stay. We are glad we stayed at Windsor House and hope to see you again!

Best Stay Ever, we have a found a perfect place to come , stay and enjoy St Andrews. Jay and everyone makes you feel welcome and like you have come home !! The rooms are majestic, comfy and the perfect place to come to after a long day out . With balconies, a back garden area for reading or entertaining, it has everything you could need . An in room fireplace , a/c , clawfoot bathtub for a good, long deep soak. You will find no better place to stay, unwind and enjoy your time here .

AMAZING!!!!!Jay was a delight! He made breakfast for us every morning we stayed and he allowed us use of the back courtyard! Which is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Would highly recommend staying here with Jay! 1500 out of 10

Loved, loved, loved this place! It's the kind of spot that beckons to the traveler in you.It's a historic spot and the collections and oddities within are equally so with a smattering of modernity here and there to add to the uniqueness of the inside.My wife and I had such a lovely time speaking with the owner and the bartender that evening. As was often stated, Jay mentioned it was the first time they met someone from Mongolia and we then had the greatest chats. You never know who is going to come through the library bar's doors, but you can expect every kind of person. It feels like a place where anything could happen and an environment where you never know what you'll learn next as the conversations flow from history to art to partying to food to world travel and everything in between.We also had a slice of the blueberry pie and I still wish we bought more because it was both light and packed with blueberry goodness. We cannot wait to go back.

Jay and his partner were very gracious and accommodating hosts! Their historical home was beautifully decorated and features many wonderful artworks ranging from paintings to pottery. The breakfast menu was delightful and plentiful. The rooms are spacious, the beds and linens are comfortable, the water is hot and the pressure is strong, and the backyard garden is a peaceful oasis. Plus, they accommodated my dog and were very understanding of her sometimes anxious nature. Truly a lovely experience.

Whst can I say.......I was so sad to leave this morning. It was like visiting a beloved relative. My room was warm and cozy and I could have spent hours relaxing reading one of the many books in my room! Jay treated us to a yummy breakfast while we chatted at the long table with other guests. I cannot wait to return!

Being an anxious dog mom, Jay and Durrell made my stay easy. They were fantastic with Rainne and she loved them too. My husband and I were out one evening during a thunderstorm and John their associate came and got her. She stayed under his desk until the storm passed and then he took her for a walk. Thank you so much for your kindness. Rainne thanks you too. Your hotel is amazing and so are you. God bless. Hope to stay with you again.
