Kim's Katsu
Delicious Katsu and appetizers. We had the gyoza and takoyaki. We've been here a few times and they have consistent quality and good service. The salad is refreshing and assorted katsu gives you a little bit of everything.

A nice lil gem in Kensington that offers big dishes for a great price. They offer a variety of different katsu options and the servings are big enough to share. The breading is nice, flaky, and not overpowering. Their dishes are delicious and the staff is really nice and friendly. I recommend the assorted katsu and the kings katsu.

The food at this location is really yummy. I also believe that the quality is consistent as I’ve come here a few times within the last couple of years. The service is good but nothing special as it is a more casual space.

Excellent spot for some crispy and fresh katsu. Great menu items, and I was totally surprised by the portion size of the kings katsu, it was massive! The Japanese curry hit the spot. The meal also came with sweet corn soup, and it was definitely needed on the cold day.I will be back to try the other katsu places, prices were great. Service was helpful and welcoming.

A 4.5-5 overall rating. Limited seating here as it's a smaller spot but it can move relatively quickly. Can get cold in winter times but there are space heaters to help. Food wait is not too long (an adequate amount for freshly made). The presentation to quality of food is quite good here. They have Katsu meal sets of all sorts or you can go with the assorted ($18.95) that serves a bit of everything in good full size. The Katsu sauce was ok here. A little on the lighter side of tangy-ness and less viscous than what I'm familiar with. For this who aren't a fan of Katsu, they serve donburi, curry, teriyaki and udon that are just as well done. Personally i find the oyako don amazing in quality/content/flavour. The price range for these items are about $14-16. Service here is friendly and efficient. Good miso soup gets served with full meals.

Awesome crispy, fresh and affordable food. The chicken katsu is one of their best sellers, and its crispy, light, well seasoned and very delicious. Customer service is aslo great! Definitely a place to go to!

The place is small and cozy. Good hidden place in Kensington.The atmosphere is chill and the service is friendly and helpful.The food is delicious and come out in just the right time.Recommended!

Kim’s Katsu never disappoints! Their food quality is amazing— pictured below are the King’s Katsu (really huge!), Katsu Curry (my personal favourite), and the Cheese Katsu.10/10 love this local business, very worth the wait as it is a small restaurant with limited seating. (No reservations though)

This place is getting full during weekend, so you might have to wait for little longer, also it takes bit longer to serving the food as well. Friendly staff , since it’s my first time there they suggested how to eat Katau, I thought it’s like fried chicken but this is really really soft. Love it.

This is a Japanese style Katsu shop owned by a Koreans. The quality & service was very good. It’s another small shop with limited seats so try to go early or call to check the waiting time before you arrive. The different Katsu combo all comes with miso soup, shredded cabbage and rice. I like the texture of my Rosu Katsu. The Katsu was very crispy outside and the pork loin was tender & juicy. It’s amazing! If you crave for Katsu, this is a good choice for you.
