Rust Proofing Corrosion Free Zone - Etobicoke

Chris rust proofed my CRV. Was done in 25 Minutes. I thought it would take longer. Will update this review in a few months about well the car is holding up.

Had an appointment booked and everything was great until the day of my appointment. Called the day of my appointment just to make sure that everything was still good as it was snowing and I wanted to make sure it wouldnt impact my appointment. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone answered the phone with a “Hello” and didnt mention the shop name or his name. While talking to him he was quite pushy and rude and basically said people are cancelling due to the snow and he basically forced me to cancel my appointment and said to book a new appointment 2-3 weeks later. Really? Thought costumer service was a thing? Not at this shop!

Typically a full rust proofing should take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour if it's done well and the guy here took 30 minutes and missed a lot of areas that were supposed to be covered in the package and clear spots were missed under the hood too. Pretty sloppy job because oil grease was all over my windshield, tail lights and bumper.Overall the feel of the outside of the car felt more greasy than it should. The service should cover my car for at least a year to 18 months but I'm most likely going to head to krown and get it done again near winter that way I know the car is truly protected.They have no waiting area and you are asked to wait outside with no seats or even a shelter style environment provided.Not worth the price

I’ve been coming here to get my Ford f-150 rust proofed and undercoated for the last 3 years. I will continue to come back until my truck can’t (not because of the rust). I usually get the “U-package” as the trucks body is aluminum. The quality of service here is top notch with a great attention to detail. Prices are reasonable for this quality of product. I never leave unsatisfied and know my truck will be protected for another 12-18months. Highly recommend!!

Review summary: Shop used to provide excellent Corrosion Free treatment. I got the most comprehensive package recently, and it was done very poorly.For background, I have a body on frame SUV that is prone to frame corrosion. When I purchased it, I took the time to wire grind, convert and repaint the entire frame assembly. Immediately after, I took it to this shop to have a Corrosion Free Treatment applied. Over the past few years, the shop has been very thorough and done a great job applying the product, this time around was different.I have always opted for the C package. When I arrived, the technician that applied the treatment asked if I usually get the free wash after (I usually do not, and opt to do it myself) and indicated to me they 'prefer to avoid overspray'. I didn't think anything of it at the time. The service was completed far quicker than normal this time around, (a little over 10 minutes if memory serves) and I wasn't given an opportunity to have a look as I have previously.I trusted the work would be done correctly as it has been the past few years I have been going. I recently was performing work under my truck and noticed the areas missed. These included sections of the wheel well, upper sections of the outside of the frame, nearly the entirety of the inside of the frame assembly (this was done in previous years and is necessary and easy to accomplish with my particular vehicle given all the access holes) the entire rear bumper frame area, trailer hitch, the outside front frame section around the radiator (this area sees a lot of road salt on this vehicle) and a number of different steel fasteners, and random sections of running board support fasteners, and other parts of the frame.The general impression I got is that the job was rushed, and certain parts that were supposed to be sprayed were either started and not finished, or missed completely.The real issue I have with all of this, is the treatment matters most for those areas which rust is allowed to develop. The majority of them in my case were simply ignored and found to be bone dry. The treatment requires attention to detail in order to be effective.I should mention this service was performed a few months ago on my vehicle, but it has not been driven yet this winter (and barely since the treatment) and sits in a climate controlled garage. Therefore, the areas that were neglected were easy to see as the product is new and still very shiny.Some folks here have mentioned the owner is hard to get ahold of. My hope with this review is the owner can see the issues I experienced, with the hope they'll make it right. If not, I will definitely have to go to a different shop in the future.

I had U package applied to my SUV this year 2022 the job was completed in approximately 10 minutes, when I got home I noticed that they had missed the wheel wells. I had the same application applied several times before and each time it took at least 30 minutes to do the job. I notice they are under new management. Could be cost cutting, I am not sure? The previous guys under the old management did a very thorough job.I travelled out from Mississauga because I wanted a good job.No more good bye to The West Mall :-(

Top notch rustproofing product applied by professional and friendly technicians. I’ve tried other rust proofing alternatives and despite what they say, they all drip after application and make a mess on your driveway. Corrosion Free has a petroleum jelly (Vaseline) texture that sticks and doesn’t drip. Victor was my technician and he did an amazing job on my truck. Will be going back for reapplication every 18 months to maintain the warranty.

Haphazard rust proofing, lacking coverage with a lot of over-spray. In and out in 40 minutes for the complete" package.Product is missing from spots that should be protected

When I arrived everyone was really friendly and professional. Originally my colleague and I had called in ahead of time (a week in advance) to book in our time slots because we were told of the discount that would be applied when bringing in multiple vehicles. In this case it was two vehicles that would have had the full complete rust proofing done (Car C Package).We were told that for each vehicle it would come to $120 before tax. Unfortunately the agreement was only honored to my colleague versus for me...We had our time slots for 01:00PM and 04:00PM. I went in for the 04:00PM.I was able to see through the glass window that was in the waiting room while the rust proofing was being applied. The guys did a great job.Once completed and I was ready to pay, the guys told me they could not charge me the amount that was initially offered because the cars were not present at the same time? But originally told us to come within the same day as long as both vehicles shows up to their respective time slots...I would have given 5 stars if the agreement stayed true.
