I want to express my great appreciation to Mr. Craig Bickers - one of the building inspector. He is very professional, punctual and always responsive.He had made every effort helping me during my construction and educating me on the project.He responds to my questions less than an hour even off of working hours. This means a lot to someone who is involved with his first construction project and considered inexperienced.In general, we are pleased to live in Newmarket and picked this town to extend our family.

A big thank you to Michelle Olsen at Planning & Building Services! We had many questions regarding planning of exterior and interior renovations for our property, and while we had visited several times in the past, we received generic responses from the other staff to some of our questions due to changing policies. It was not until we spoke to Michelle that she gave us detailed and precise responses to our questions so we were able to breathe a sigh of relief and proceed with our project. She even gave us suggestions for things which were needed but which we hadn't considered yet!

What an outstanding job we got 2 weeks ago from the Waste Water Department! We couldn't have asked for a better response from them. We had a sewer back up in our house and luckily, we got helped by Graham and Chris. These two gentlemen spent 7 hours trying to clean our clogged pipes and restore usage. They kept trying and trying never leaving the place until they unclogged the pipes and we got to use our facilities. And they did it Saturday with the most professionalism. Patrick Leo, who is their supervisor, is lucky to have dedicated people like that in his team. Thank you all for your excellent dedication, hard work and a job well done! You certainly deserve your five star review.

It’s 2.30 pm still our street is not cleaned

No matter what interaction I have ever had in person or over the phone. The people have always been a pleasure to deal with.

Please fix the stop lights at main and Davis. The light has been red for the past 10 minutes and the train tracks arms and lights just went off… there’s a car pile up backed up to the Langford, and the train isn’t even here yet. This is ridiculous; people are running the red light.

We are At ,Yarfeld Cres L3X0H4 and with storm we are at 3 PM and no shoveling the streets and all our cars are stuck. This is the worst service from town of Newmarket. All they do is collect our property tax and they don’t care about the city or the street to clean up.
