Love the park. Rarely anyone in the park. Very calming. They could stop the neighboring house from dumping their branches and grass clippings. Makes some areas stink and look messy.

Lovely spot for a walk in the woods on well maintained gravel trails. The city recently did some work that really improved the previously narrow parts of trails on the upstream end of the park.Unfortunately there is no obvious connection to the rest of the Stoney Creek trails. To make the connection, you will need to go up the stairs at the downstream side of the park and cut through the sports field of Thomas Swift Elementary. Past the playground there is a trail that switchbacks down a steep hill to Cobblestone Dr. Follow this street for half a block to the trailhead for Stoney Creek and Bateman trails.

Nice little place to walk by, but it's not a big park. There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared for that. The stream also has a sewer our water pipe running across it like a bridge, which detracts somewhat from the overall character of the park. Still, the bubbling stream and big trees make for a nice walk

It's a great hike through here from what I've heard! Since we were visiting the area not too long after a pretty bad storm we weren't able to walk down to the trail along the little creek. A few large branches were blocking the walking g pathway and the deluge of rain left the banks and edges along the hill highly unstable and treacherous. We'll go back in the late Spring and check it out thoroughly.

At first glance this park seems pretty lacking. There's just a thin strip of grass along the road that widens out to accommodate a picnic table. BUT there is also a nice little trail that follows Stoney Creek down below. It only goes the length of the park and is not wheelchair accessible, but it's a cute little bit of nature for the kids.

It is a short trail that winds its way along the creek and is super peaceful. In the fall it is a great place to get to watch the salmon swim up the creek to spawn as the tail has many great places to watch them. Like others have said it would be nice if the the trail was much longer and continued along the creek to link up with the other trails in the area so that you don't have to cut through the elementary school grounds to get to the next trail further down the creek.

Nice quiet off the beaten path park. Bubbling stream rushes through , birds a chirping. Nice and relaxing.

Lovely green space with trail. That meanders along the creek and over a bridge. Occasional rustic seating. Squirrels chattering in the huge trees. A cooler reprieve on a hot day.
