Julie is a superb seamstress. I went in with a silk dress that was too long for me. I needed it done same day and she came through with speed! She got right to it and I picked it up so much quicker than expected. And she did an absolutely PERFECT job. Silk isn’t easy to work with so I’m very impressed with Julie. Retro Runway Fashions is a hidden gem in Wolfville! If you take a break from Main street and pop around the corner, you'll find Julie's wonderful shop. I originally came across this store after Googling clothing repair in the area because I had a pair of Jeans that needed to be fixed (torn where the pant legs met). Julie is quite literally one of the friendliest people I've met, and was a huge help. She quickly repaired my jeans and I was able to pick them up quite soon after dropping them off. She also went the extra mile to take my number down to contact me when she gets in some new sunglasses I was interested in. The selection of clothing is fantastic too! Long story short: check this place out!

Came in stressed about a seam that ripped from my pants and was instantly greeted kindly. Julie fixed it in under 5 minutes. Amazing experience ❤️

I brought a Lulu Lemon Commission Button Down shirt which the sleeves were slightly too long. This material is not typical and it was the first time Julie worked with this specific material. Not only did she have the shirt done by the next day, but she absolutely did an AMAZING job. The shirt fits perfectly and will look amazing at the wedding I will be attending. Her store is awesome as well! Huge selection of very unique items. If you live in the valley there really isn’t anywhere else you need to bring your clothes. Trust me.Eric

Julie is such a sweetheart! I left getting a braidsmaid dress altered until the last minute and she did my alterations in record time. Julie was super communicative and so easy to work with. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I've been going to retro since I was very small and to this day it's still my absolute favorite vintage store ever. There's always a really welcoming vibe and always plenty of cool pieces at great prices! Julie is also wonderful, she always welcomes you like you've been coming in every day for years and makes the coolest masks and tshirts! Can't sing enough praises for this place ❤️
