!!!!!!SCAMMERS!!!!I WAS a potential client that is very unimpressed by the unprofessional practices showed by your employees. I have submitted an application form to rent out a two bedroom apartment at 839 Roselawn Ave which was advertised for $1,599 monthly (screenshot of their website below). I have signed forms explicitly saying that I am going to rent out the flat for the said price. However, after submitting the signed forms, photocopies of Identification cards, SIN numbers and my money order for the first-last months pay, I got a call from the landlord of 839 Roselawn Ave (Irma Bogdani) that the manager actually called her to tell her that the price should be $1779. I went to her office to talk to her and clear out why your company is suddenly increasing the rent price and not following the advertised price which is on your website. She told me that this is above her pay grade, and I should talk to her manager—who is by ther way: not answering any phone calls. Irma mentioned that her manager said that “the price is too cheap for the neighbourhood”.Anywho, I am emailing you to inform you about the “Competition Act” of the Government of Canada. If you take a look at the Section 74.05 of this act, it clearly states that the sale or rent of a product at a price higher than its advertised price IS PROHIBITED. In the future, I suggest that your company and your employees follow such simple instruction and honour your advertisements especially ones that are on your own website. It is a good idea that you ask your employees to double check whatever they are posting on your website to avoid misleading and scamming your clients. This is to ensure that you don’t waste the time and effort of your clients and potential clients as well. I understand that your asking your clients to be honest with our application forms, but honesty is a two-way street.

This company completely garbage don't waste your life in their garbage apartments.I had worst experience in my life about their building in 3201 Lawrence ave east. Building is almost a zoo you can find all kind insects including bed bugs and mice.Zero responsibility ...

I don't want to give any star.I am posting this review at 1:36 amBecause this building managment is not taking any action. so many time we give them written complaints about the drugs somebody smokes in corridor at this timeOur appartment is full of smell very badly it is difficult to breathe. Don't want live in this building. Leaving soon.

Over the years I have watched the building deteriorate and the rent increase to ridiculous amounts, the buildings are old and need to be taken care of, elevators, hallways, doors, fixtures, water pipes etc. Some cosmetic but mostly the big things. When I first moved in they were great but since the owner has left things to his children the care is gone and the greed has risen. Elevators are so old when they break down it takes days, sometimes weeks to find parts for repairs. The upgrades in the kitchens were poorly done because it seems they hire guys off the street who are looking for work not professionals causing a regular stove not to fit therefore having to live with a Barbie size stove. It's sad to see because the space is wonderful in the older buildings. It's a shame to see the carelessness in humanity of the owners.

They have been trying lately but lots of room for imporvement where management is concern. I go to work all day and it's when I back after 5pm someone coming to do repairs. What happen from 9-5pm??? The handy man goes to work and do repair after his job. That is to say repairs are done 3:30-6:30. NONSENSE!!!

I lived here for 5 years (in two different units) and during that time my asthma continually got much, much worse. Once I moved out it got better and has continued to improve.30 Speers is literally a health hazard.

I lived in Cando Apartment,Gilder Drive,Scarborough,for three years. Excellent staff and maintenance. Rooms are big,though old but well maintained.Excellent in following up repairs.Good heating system.Schools and groceries,bus stops are in the vicinity.

I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The management doesn't address the issue with the tenants allowing their dogs to poop in the stairwells, in the parking lot and all over the walkways. Upstairs bathroom leaked down into our apartment sewage everywhere. Some guy came and knock a hole in the bathroom ceiling and that was three going on to four months ago and I've called and made complaints and no one came to repair it. The first night we moved in there were cockroaches all over the apt especially the kitchen ceiling. My whole family had to sleep in the car. Next we found out the neighbor had bed bugs and they somehow got into our apt we had to vacate again because a family member has lung issues.

Cando apartments are very nice buildings and I have been living in one for many years now. Over the past years my only complaint would be that the property management is HORRIBLE. They put their own issues over that of the tenants and do not take the time to make sure everything in and around the building is kept up to standards. Furthermore, they do not attend to issues relating to necessities (Heat, hot water, water , power) in a timely manner. Their contractors take days to repair. Emergency contractors are never called and management takes their own sweet time with fixing these issues.
