In the age of online markets with foreign manufacturers, doing business with Seabright Marine reminded me why I love to deal with local manufacturers and businesses: great craftsmanship, involved people, supportive staff when questions arise... It is just great to call Dan on the phone, request a part, and have him advise you on this piece or that part. The prices are great, the quality is fantastic, and the service is unique, fast, knowledgeable. This is just NOT your typical Chinese-made, online purchase experience!

I ordered a 430 back in April, and have been nothing but impressed with the product and service. Bang for your buck, this boat is unbeatable. Daniel has always answered any questions I had quickly and has been super helpful. Would recommend and purchase from again without question.There was a minor issue with the boat about a year down the road, and the warranty service/communication were excellent.

This business supplies an excellent product and backs it up with truly excellent customer service both before and well after the purchase. The owner (Daniel Avis) is easy to contact by email or phone and is very quick to reply (never exceeding 1 day even in the busy spring season). I purchased the SeaBright 380 - 12' 6 and a matching Bimini top this spring and have now been out in it on 23 different days (so this is an informed opinion).The boat itself is a quality product and very well thought out. I particularly like the Anchor Cleat at the bow. I now no longer have to lean way over the bow to clip the anchor rope to the front carrying handle like on my previous boat. This cleat makes it super easy to adjust the length of the anchor line. The aluminum floor is also much easier to install than on my previous boat (which had always been a struggle). I have never had to add more air to the boat – probably luck of the draw

We bought our Seabright inflatable (9.5 foot 290P - with a High PressureAirDeck Floor) at the Halifax Boat Show in February 2015 and it has performed very well. It has seen almost daily summer use for 5 years with only small repairs required. If any part has to be replaced it is readily available together with helpful installation instructions. We have used the oars instead of a motor and they are robust and easily locked when not in use.We would recommend these Seabright boats to anyone looking for areliable inflatable boat and excellent service.

We have a cottage on a 5 km lake with very limited access for launching boats. I called Daniel at Seabright and discussed an inflatable for our application....mainly ease of launching, storage and retrieval and fishing and puttering around the lake. He suggested the 290 model. We chose PVC.First of all, Daniel's personal service is about as good as it gets.Second, the quality of the boat appears great and Seabright is one of very few vendors to even tell you what it is constructed of. And the only vendor to offer up to 7 years warranty.Third, shipping and delivery was great. FedExed from Nova Scotia to Ottawa on about 48 hour and arrived in good shape.Assembly took a bit of struggle, particularly with the aluminum floor, but that was likely a learning curve. About 1 hour the first time.The attached photo shows the boat on a 8 x 16 ft floating dock with one of Seabright's custom covers for UV protection and to keep the debris out. Highly recommended.Great work Seabright.

I've owned two seabright boats. My first boat was a 12 foot inflatible with a 15 horsepower Suzuki. I sold that and upgraded to a 14 foot aluminum hulled RIB with hyphalon tubes and 50hp Suzuki motor. Dan is always very responsive to emails and is patient with responding to many questions via email. He's always very prompt to reply and flexible with business hours if you want to look at his boats in the evenings. Overall very pleasant to deal with. His boats are very nice and the prices are dramatically lower than comparible boats from more mainstream brands. If you live in the Maritimes it's almost a no brainer to buy these boats given the quality and price.

I am a picky client and I only have good things to say about Seabright Marine and Daniel Avis. Over 30 years I have owned/used a 10ft Zodiac, 10 ft Portabote, 12 ft aluminum boat, depending on how my needs evolved over time. I am familiar with the pros and cons of each hull design. This year I did a lot of research for my dream boat": I wanted the lightest

They were nice enough pre-sale, and delivery went smoothly. But on the first outing of the boat(a 430), one of the transom floor holder broke; it's brittle plastic and hollow. Well 2 years, and numerous email, later, we were still waiting on that part. I sold the boat in fact and still hadn't received the parts.So, after sale service in our experience is non- existent, once you bought the boat, you're on your own.As to the owner answer. Well, my point isn't to hurt the company"

We bought our first inflatable boat from Seabright Marine and picked it up just over a week ago. Dan has such a wealth of knowledge and is very helpful, especially for those new to the inflatable boat world like us. We waited to write this review until we had the boat in the water (which we did today), and we are even more impressed than we thought we would be. The purchase, pick up and product in general have all exceeded our expectations. Also, highly reccomend the Seamax Easy Load Launching Wheels - super convenient for launching. Thanks to Dan and family for a great experience!

It is hard to add more to all those other great reviews. Do not hesitate if you are thinking about buying a boat from Seabright. The quality of my little dinghy is superb, and the service can't be matched. Easy to contact, informative, upfront and honest. The boat was delivered from Nova Scotia to Victoria, BC without a glitch and in good time. Any support I needed, which was very little, was handled with speed and clarity of explanation. Just do it.
