I have seen Dr. Ngo several times over the years for a variety of issues. He is one of the most caring, conscientious, and intelligent health care practitioners I have ever seen. I had been looking for a mindbody practitioner as an avenue for managing the chronic pain I now experience as a retired Olympic athlete. I am so grateful to have discovered Dr Ngo at Novah Healthcare via his interview on Curable, (a very effective & highly recommended chronic pain management app). Together with skilled & trauma-informed RMT Donna Padua, Dr Ngo & his team identified and is holistically treating the myriad mindbody factors that contribute to chronic pain, including unprocessed physical & emotional trauma. Dr Ngo is professional, intuitive, patient, empathetic, curious & connected to his patients. I have lower back injury several years ago. It has been bothering me. I have tired different therapeutic treatment but in vain. I have been looking for a reliable and skillful chiropractor and today I have found it. Dr. Ngo is an experienced and knowledgeable, whenever he touches the spine and joints, he can determine the root cause of the problem. After treatment he explained the possible situation how the problem was originated, and also provided the suggestion to avoid future injury. He appears to be a very trustworthy professional.

I normally don't leave reviews but I felt the need to leave this one. I was referred to Dr. NGO and his team two years ago through another Practitioner. I was skeptical because I've been to many pain clinics in Toronto, Mississauga and New Brunswick but I'm going to say they honestly didn't have my best interest at heart or they didn't have the expertise I needed for them to help ease or control the pain I was experiencing. The compassion wasn't there, it was as if I was just another number to make their quota and nothing more. Then I met Dr. NGO, at first I didn't understand his strategy because it wasn't like physio for my pain, it was as if I was in therapy for my mind and I didn't like that. As time went on I began to understand why he took this approach, because pain and having me understand how it worked made all the difference. I used to dread going to physio for so many years until I met this team, from Dr. Ngo, Donna, the massage therapist and the receptionist Stacey they always make me feel welcomed and along with making sure I am getting the help I need to succeed and over come this pain I've been experiencing for so many years. I can honestly say today after leaving my sessions at Novah Healthcare I started feeling differently in a good way, my pain is still there but I can manage it so much more with their techniques and assuring me I'm never in danger, and to see different sides of any situation. The team at Novah Healthcare are amazing! They are truly great at what they do. Professional, knowledgeable, experienced, but what sets them a part from other clinics (and I tried a few) is their patient care. They are kind, they listen and remember, they want and give you the best treatment for your pain and/or goals.I told Dr. Ngo I wanted to run my first marathon and he quickly set up a team to help me achieve it. I saw Dr. Ngo for chiropractor services, Donna Padua RMT, for massages, and Ashton Lo, Pedorthist to examine my feet/legs.Dr. Ngo- Helped me recover from a minor sprain quickly so I could continue to train. I totally experienced a difference whenever I got adjusted. I participated in Dr. Ngo’s Resilience Program and I am forever changed as a person. I learned how the mind and body need to work together and why that’s important. Sounds simple, but really it changed my life for the better. He also showed up at my marathon with his wife and three little kids to show support! I am so grateful for Dr. Ngo. He is caring, supportive, and really good at what he does. I recommend him and Novah Healthcare to anyone who wants that connection and care.Donna- I had weekly massages to help me recovery quickly during training and post-race. She is great at what she does and I always felt better after our sessions. I looked forward to seeing her and never wanted the massages to end. She also makes great conversation and is so funny!Ashton- Analyzed my walk/run and gave me exercises to keep my feet/legs strong and ready to take on all the kilometres. I asked if I needed orthotics and he said I had good running shoes already and didn’t need them. I appreciated his honesty. He wasn’t trying to sell me something I didn’t need, instead he was focused on getting me ready for my race.Stacey- She is the receptionist and is amazing at what she does. She kept my appointments organized during training and helped me move them seamlessly whenever I had to reschedule. Unparalleled customer service, I love coming to this clinic and I have brought my family here. Ashton Lo is extremely knowledgeable and fun, and the orthotics he makes himself gave me more freedom. He is a true professional. Thank you so much everyone from the receptionist to the owner for the conversations and for being accommodating and kind!

May 10, 2023I have had custom orthotics from at least 5 practitioners over 30 years with varying degrees of success.Last week I saw Ashton for an initial consultation and found him to be pleasant, likable and professional without pretense.He discussed my knee and foot pain, assessed my gait, bone structure/alignment and current orthotics with more attention to detail and time spent than anyone I had seen previously.He is making me new orthotics with some modifications from the ones I currently have.In the meantime, he has asked me to pay attention to what activities and footwear cause the pain to change to help him make a better analysis of my specific requirements.I see him again in 10 days for my orthotic fitting and look forward to working with him to minimize my pain and improve my mobility.June 6, 2023I went back to have my new orthotics (2 pairs) fitted by Ashton on May 26. He was very thorough and the appointment lasted about 30 minutes. He ensured they fit in my shoes and that they matched up with the profile of my feet off the floor and also with me standing. He had me walk in them to ensure they felt comfortable and that my gait was normal. There were no pressure points or other issues. I have been using them for 10 days now and they are supportive while still allowing a good amount of flexibility. I have a follow up phone consult in two weeks.

First time visiting Novah Health, I was very happy with the experience. Dr.Trung, took his time and explained in full details with my 12 years old condition, and did a thorough examination, and showed us what we can do at home to help improve the condition, and the whole time he was asking all the questions from my 12 years old, treating her like a responsible adult, that was very great.Thank you Dr. Trung and team.
