Beautiful spot! Camped with some friends on a dble site. Was spacious, clean and very quiet.Will definitely try and get a site for ourselves next time.

A beautiful spot for a day trip, and if you get the right camp site, a lovely spot for family camping. Highly recommend to make sure you keep track of the time and confirm the times for the gate access to open and close.

Nanaimo Lakes Old Mill Campground
It was such a great campground. The hosts were amazing! And their dog Don was just the best dog ever. He was so gentle and kind to my dog. Most dogs hate mine, but Don was a gentleman.It's super quiet and so relaxing. It was a great 3 days, and we can't wait to return. Not having cell service or the internet was very nice. Super peaceful.

Awesome campground, lots of different sized sites so choose wisely. Some do look larger in the photo. All around good campground though. Outhouses are clean and not too smelly. Sites are clean. You do need to bring your own water as none is available and also pack out your own garbage so dont forget garbage bags!

Nanaimo Lakes Old Mill Campground
We've been Old Mill campers for almost 30 years. It's our favourite place to camp thoughout the summer. However, this year we have to say the road from the gate to the sites is horrible. We've never seen it so bad. We were very concerned for our vehicle going in and coming out. We also know of 2 campers that actually got flats on the road. Last year was bad but this year... wow!

Nanaimo Lakes Old Mill Campground
Terrible business. Booked a site for 2 nights. The business advertised that you have to arrive by 8 pm, otherwise, the gates will be closed and locked. We arrived at 6:45 pm and the gates were locked. The gates are far away from the campsite. Called with no answer. Don’t book it here.

Super friendly host, Jim! My kids love him! The campground is well maintained. Few walks going to the lake. And the water is clear & warm which is so inviting!

First time there .nice clean camp sites.and great groundskeepers .great place to amp with family. Also great spot to fish saw lots of fish jumping .were gonna make this camp place are annual family camping trip .also if you love swimming warm enough to swim in .

Nanaimo Lakes Old Mill Campground
Just spent a week at Old Mill campground and it was great. The lake was warm and the site was clean. As well, Barb, the camp host, was just fabulous. She took good care of everything and was very helpful to us. We will be returning for sure!
