Not the cheapest place but they do excellent work. Totally worth the money. I appreciate the down payment system to have your equipment serviced and they were clear about costs beyond that. I am a newbie with most things in this store and I never felt belittled for not knowing anything so that makes the experience worth it. The repair crew also clearly helped me know how to best use and maintain my equipment moving forward.

Expensive and loose with billing. I picked four items up, was given a grand total, I had to remind her that they already had a 220.00 down payment, she credited me that then asked for more money: The written receipts reflected little of it and the billing was inconsistent despite being the same procedure on four machines.

Excellent sums it up. I've been dealing with Ron and his family for over a decade. I've been purchased a significant amount of outdoor equipment from them and each time they have been extremely knowledgeable and professional in recommending a product. The most impressive thing about Chainsaw Clinic is the after sale service. They are always very accommodating in attempting to assist with any issues that might arise when purchasing new equipment. All in all, I thoroughly recommend Chainsaw Clinic as a source for your outdoor power equipment needs. Thank you guys for the excellent service over the years.

DON'T GO HERE************************Not happy with the work they've done to my snow blower.When we had our first snow fall back in December 2017, I took my snow blower for service as it was acting up. After paying them $55 (diagnostics fee), they advised it needed a new part (carburetor needed to be replaced). I trusted them and payed them for the service to fix my snow blower (costing me a total of $237.63).They advised the snow blower is working good as new and shouldn't give me any problems. Sure enough, I trusted them and everything was working fine for about 2 to 3 weeks.This year (2018), we received several snow falls in January. I believe after using the snow baller an additional 2 to 3 times, it started to give the same problem. I took it back to them and sure enough they wanted another diagnostic fee. Why? I paid you the fee less than 3 weeks ago to diagnose why my snow blower is acting up. Either they did not diagnose the snow blower properly or ripped me off by selling me a part that was working properly. This time, they were very rude and began raising their voice and telling me to either pay them or leave their shop.I took it to a small engine repair shop who performed a free diagnostics and they advised me the carburetor was acting up and needed replacing. I told him that I had a new carburetor replaced, but he advised me it wasn't replaced, it was repaired and showed me the manufacturing date on it showing it was 7 years old (almost the time I bought this snow blower).Chain saw clinic simply tried to repair my carburetor but they claimed they replaced it with a new one. When I confronted the owner of the store about that, he lied to me and I showed him I have proof. He refused to listen and told me to leave or he'll call the police.Never go to this place as they are scammers and con artists. I will have to report them to the Toronto Star, and CTV Consumer Alert so that people are aware of their fraudulent business practices. I even contacted the police to inform them, but the police told me this would be a civil matter and I should file damages in small claim courts.If they tried to rip me off, I'm wondering how many people they actually ripped off. A scammer will always be a scammer until they are caught. PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!! SCAMMERS!!!

Had the exact part I needed when no one else did. Although it was a small purchase, I was never made to feel like I was being a bother (like the other places did), even over the phone. If I ever need anything in the future, this is the first place I'm calling.

Recently bought a Honda generator here. They were friendly and efficient, set everything up and tested it for me before I left the store. That was my first large purchase there, but I've been going there for awhile for sharpening and service and have always been pleased.

Great service today getting a few parts for my Stihl 291. It was probably the smallest sale of the week, but I was treated as though I was a big customer. This has always been a measure of a quality establishment for me. I will certainly do business with them again - hopefully on a much larger sale.

I bought a Honda lawnmower today, for the most part, the experience was positive, however, the one thing that irks me, is the $40.00, I was charged for “dealer prep”. I’ve dealt with other small engine places, that play this game, and it drives me nuts. I’m buying, a premium product, and I don’t want to pay extra for someone to fill it with oil, and a bit of gas, I can do that myself. I am a firm believer in the quality of Honda’s products, and I can’t buy them at the big box store, so I’m left , over the barrel, so to say. I wasn’t told in advance either, if I were, I would have probably walked.My next purchase will be an EU 7000, I won’t be going to The Chain Saw Clinic for it, I know of other Honda dealers that don’t charge the prep fee.

Honest, competent and reasonably priced. This is the best place you can go for small engine repairs. Ron is very knowledgeable about and experienced with all things small engine. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with chainsaw clinic.

Awesome service, very friendly and knowledgeable. Great prices for quality tools, I wouldn't go anywhere else! I'm new to chainsaws (but very familiar with quality tools) and the owner took the time to explain a few finer details and shared a little of his experience with me. I say a little, because right away you can tell he's got a LOT of years! I don't normally write reviews, but I'm so impressed, I just had to go out of my way to say Thank you!
