A quick overnight in Swift Current at the Days Inn by Wyndham we discovered a local restaurant with exactly what we were looking for. Yummy ramen and wonton soup.Efficient, friendly service. With a visit. !!

There is no Canadian food on the menu, except fish & chips. All menu's are Philippines some Japanese dishes. Food is excellent if you like Asian dishes. Good coffee by the way. Service is great. Nice neat place to have some Asian cuisine.

I ordered tonkotsu ramen and it was pretty impressive and tasted great. They have a great menu with a wide variety of Asian dishes. The steamed pork buns and salad rolls are delicious and fantastic. Service was fat and friendly.

A taste bud explosion and a new found favouriteI drove to the location looking to dine in Uncle Bob’s Diner which is gone and now Sisters Family Restaurant. It turned out its operated by a friend’s wife. The menu offered a mix of dim sum, ramen, fried rice and American fast food, which, in such diversity, usually means a caution on quality. I ordered a Tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen, which is one of Japanese grassroot staple; cheap, quick and hearty. When arrived, the soup base was visually different from the typical cloudy white-ish tone, I took a spoonful of soup and knew I liked it. The taste was strong and peanuty, it reminded me a version of Vietnam satay beef pho. The Tonkotsu ramen in this restaurant is now my favourite in Swift Current, topping even the one I loved in ikebukuro, Tokyo. I attach photos of the ramen from the former. It was garnished with thick slices of pork belly, sliced, seared & simmered; seaweed, boiled spinach, soft boiled egg, caramelized eggplant, Chinese onion and naruto maki (fish cake). Even though ramen is considered fast food, the broth and pork belly prepared this way takes a shi-t-ton of time at home.

Great combination of Thai, Chinese, Japanese and especially Filipino food.I have now eaten here three times even though it is a ninety minute drive from my home. The food is good enough to tempt me into moving to Swift Current!I see that they now offer a buffet for lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday. I must give that a try.

BBQ Pork ribs were delicious. Loved the vegetables and rice. Good wholesome supper. Engaging friendly staff.
