The West Broadway location of the popular Malaysian John 3:16 eatery. Had the Char Koay Teow, chicken wings, Roti Canai with beef curry, and roasted Hainanese chicken.Good noodles and roti (good idea to have it with curry) but could have used more curry dipping sauce.I think I preferred the Hainanese chicken at their Richmond location more. The roasted version here had the skin roasted but it kind of made the chicken not as tender.

It was good enough, but not as good as I'd hoped.Sambal fish was way too sweet and not sambal-y.Laksa was lackluster.Sambal beans/okra/eggplant was great.Ipoh Hor Fun was really good.Atmosphere is really nice as are the servers.

My Singaporean family loves this place for it's incredibly authentic southeast asian food. They have the best Prawn Noodle Soup we could find in Canada. Their beef rendang, satay and char kway teow are all awesome. And you must try their desserts!

Nice family style restaurant for Malaysian food. The satay is good and so is the roti. Wish we got a second serving. The crispy chicken was the right amount of crispy and not oily at all. I really enjoyed the eggplant, it goes well with rice and noodles. Servers are a bit slow but it’s because we went on a weekend and they were super busy. I recommend making reservations so you don’t arrive disappointed

Parking: there are a few parking available behind the store and also at the back of the street.Price: the price range is around 20 to 30 for each person. The appetizers are approximately 10-15 each, and the main dishes are 15-20 each.Food: We ordered two appetizers, the skewers and the Indian pancake, and they are the perfect choice of appetizers. The skewers I chose are chicken, and the meat is very tender. The Indian pancake is crispy, and tipping into the curry tastes good. The other two are the main dishes, fried rice and half chicken. You can see all the dishes in the pictures. The fried rice is excellent, and the half chicken is tender too. These four food are totally enough for four adults.Services: the services are acceptable—nothing to complain about.

My first time trying and I enjoy it very much. I ordered chicken satay, nasi lemak and roti canai with beef curry to dine in. And ordered BBQ pork ribs, fried chicken (ayam goreng) and an appetizer which i forget the name. All are better than what I expected. I like the flavor here more than when I tried it in Singapore. Will definitely come back and try their other dishes

The food is more 3.5 stars than 3 but it's not quite a 4 stars. The reason being that everything tasted a little bit sweet....and we ordered around 7-8 dishes for the 4 of us. Lol. Even the laska and beef rendang was sweet. Apart from that, ambiance, service, cleanliness are definitely 5 stars.

Ordered a char koay teow and a Kari laksa. Both were flavourful but the amount of meat seems pretty skimpy. E.g. the egg in the laksa was only half instead of a whole egg. Also so fish balls.

Delicious and authentic Malaysian food. We got the beef rendang and the meat was soft and flavourful. The char koay teow had a distinct wok taste and came out piping hot. The roti canai was a bit small for the twice piece serving, but good for an appetizer. You can also get drinks like teh tarik (hot and cold) and soy bean with grass jelly. It was very busy when we went even though they reopened at 5 pm on a Saturday so be sure to come early to grab your seat.
