Hampton South General Store
Excellent service. Needed a can of mushrooms and the young fellow at the counter showed me exactly where to find them. He was polite and friendly. Store is also clean. Way better improvement in service and cleanliness from several years ago when it was a dirty dusty store with low lighting. (Two ladies owned it at the time.) Much improved now.Note: They also sell ice cream at a better price then Enniskillen General Store... and its Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream too! Hampton General Store is geared towards the locals whereas Enniskillen General Store is for the tourist.

Open on new year's Day. Hampton general store is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. the beer store or the LCBO is attached so it will be open New year's Day from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. I believe if not correct me I believe it's 8:00 p.m. but you can always Google it

Geat selection of beer, wine and liquor. Consistently stocked with your everyday essentials and more. The owners and their staff are absolutely wonderful and very helpful.

Really enjoyed this local small town store. Small but has a good limited selection of products plus it's now an LCBO/Beer store, Staff were friendly and helpful .Great service

Excellent selection and very nice staff, it's nice to have all things in a small village, can grab wine or beer if I'm out, glad we moved here. Parking here needs to improve as there are blind spots when people park at front door, can cause an accident when turning.
