I have Gone there and introduced my self to the new Director I think her name is Jackie very friendly and personal with me. I wanted to know more about the place and she informed me about everything. I would recommend this place to anyone

They don't care about the resident. They only care about your money. The admin care less about there staff which are mostly overworked. Lack of sincerity to what they are doing.

The Executive Chef (Sandra Watson) is abusive to anyone that comes into contact with her. If you've had issues with her, I would encourage you to look at your employee handbook (page 11) and contact the appropriate people. Hawthorn has a 0 tolerance policy with harassment and violence. I plan on taking this as far as I can. The more that do, the sooner the problem can be dealt with.

Rude personnel. This place is hiring for a receptionist. I walked in to inquire about the position for a family member who has experience. There are 3 young slender pretty girls working at the front desk. When I asked about the position they had the nerve to look me up and down and asked if it was for me. Then I realized that down the hall the housekeeping staff were only immigrants. After seeing that I knew that this was not the type of establishment that anyone should work in. These people clearly know what type of people they want working for them and in which roles. This clearly is not a good working environment.

Always very personable staff and I believe that everyone gets the best care possible! It is more expensive and is in need of a refurb, BUT the care is worth it!
