Sagebrush Golf Club

Without a doubt, the experience of Sagebrush Golf Club has likely ruined golf for me FOREVER. From start to finish (we were on the course for nearly 10 hours) it was something special. The staff is lovely, accommodating and encouraging. The golf itself is amazing, unlike anything I’ve ever played. It really felt like someone had invited us to play their own personal golf course.Having no one behind you for an hour, and being able to take your time, and soak in the serenity that is Sagebrush, was well worth the green fee.Without a doubt, we will be back, and talking about this place for a long time.

A truly amazing experience, from the front gate which reminded all of us of Welcome to Jurasic Park " to when we left.  Randy and all the staff we met were absolutely the best accommodating and encouraging. The 1st tee I felt a little intimidated but Randy gave us tips on the tee that made us feel at ease

Played Sept 17th. Beautiful day while the lower mainland had the largest rainstorm of the year. I've played Bandon and a ton of other great courses, but Sagebrush rivals them all in overall experience. So glad we had the chance. Great hospitality, amazing all-inclusive golf concept, and super unique, challenging course. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Stay July 2022 16 GuestsI'll preface this review by stating, that for the most part, the staff here are putting forth a concentrated effort to provide a quality productUnfortunately, due to the remote nature of the property, and the current labour and supply chain climate, they just don't have the resources to deliver.The course was originally created to be an exclusive private club, where members would need to play several rounds before they could truly understand the intricacies of the layout, and its minimalist design.Since it's debut (and closing, dormancy, and reopening) efforts have been made to make the design more destination/resort golf friendly, but with blind tee shots, forced carries, inadequate signage, and less than helpful GPS systems, it makes for a long and painful round for higher handicappers.The Good:- Remarkable location, perched atop Nicola Lake, with a stunning backdrop.- Challenging course design, and good conditions- Friendly, engaging staffThe Bad:- Air conditioning didn't work in half of the suites our group had booked, and wasn't addressed for the entirety of our stay.- Blinds not installed in two rooms- Card entry system not operational, and a group of four adults had to rely on a single mechanical key.- Included meals (Breakfast and Lunch) were not reflective of the Inclusive Destination Golf Resort" rate that was paid.- Restaurant and Pro Shop still under construction

Amazing few days at Sagebrush. The golf course likes up to expectations. Played two rounds and stayed in one of the suites. Would highly recommend, its a true golf experience. Wide fairways and big greens but one can use the slopes to get closer to the hole. The superintendent has done an amazing job getting the course in great shape considering the facility was closed for 3-4 years. Cant wait to return.

Arguably one of the best golf experiences you can have in Canada. From arrival, it is clear this is a special facility with first class service and legendary golf. When they call it a golf & sporting club" you know you are in for spectacular venue. Annual destination by every measuring stick. PLAY HERE!"

Golfed last year 2022 amazing experience golf was great and the food was excellent. Booked again for 2023 and a truly disappointing experience with the service. Food was over large sub sandwiches, the lunch was over 2 hours late,charge for pop and water now. Last year it was Included. The value for the round of golf just not there

What an amazing experience. Got extremely lucky with calm weather and played 36 holes. It’s rare you can have an entire course to yourself during a soft opening. We surveyed holes before hitting, we played a few holes several times, hopped around the course like it was our own. The cabins are a good choice, but food, amenities, pro shop, restaurant are all work in progress. Can’t wait for official opening.
